Ginger Eckoff is 13 and has 2; 7 year old brothers- Jake, and Trent Eckoff who love sports, and the outdoors like their sister. Their parents names are Jamie, and Larry, they are poor but try to give their kids stuff that they want but it doesn't always happen so they try to not ask for too much. Ginger is in 7th grade and is a cheerleader, and is very popular. One night Jamie and Larry got in a huge fight and didn't talk, sleep, or look at each other for two weeks straight. One day they finally came to their senses and decided to get a divorce, so when Ginger, Jake, and Trent came home from school they had no choice but to tell them. A month later came court day and that was the end of the parents marriage they were divorced. The kids had to live with their mom because their dad didn't want anything to do with them anymore. So after a couple of weeks they got a phone call saying that they had to go to court again next Wednesday. The time came and the judge said, "Ginger, Jake, and Trent Eckoff will all be sent to a foster home this weekend, to Chicago this isn't far from where you live. Next court date will be a month later." The way home everyone is quiet because no one knew what was going on, mom said "that we will be fine and to not worry she will see us again."
