"I- I'm....... Uh...... I w-was just....... Uhhhhh" he mumbles. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask again, pushing him further into the dirt. "I was just making sure that you got home ok" he explains. I sigh. "Theo, you do know that I can tell when someone is lying, right?" I ask. He nods. "And you also know that I'm the alpha of alphas, right?" I ask again. He stays quiet for a moment, than nods. "Good, at least we understand each other" I say, while allowing him to get up.

He sits up and rubs his wrist. "I think I can manage myself" I tell him. He groans slightly and hauls himself to his feet. "I noticed" he says sarcastically. I give a short nod and begin to walk away, when he suddenly grabbed my wrist. "What?" I ask. "You sure you don't want any company on your way home?" He asks, letting go of my wrist.

"Like I said, I think I can manage". I roll my eyes playfully and walk away. Leaving him standing with a dumb smirk on his face.

Once I arrive back at my house, I said goodnight to my aunt (I had told her where I was going after school, so she didn't bother to ask where I was) then I quickly changed into my PJ shirt and pants. Then, I brush my hair, and teeth, and climb into my bed. But something felt off.

Whipping my covers off, I stood up, and sad in my window ledge, gazing out to the starry night sky. The day was pretty eventful if you ask me. New school, new friends, battling the beast. The first two were normal, the last one, not so much. I hoped that the people I had met today, would still want to be my friends tomorrow, because someone like me, can never really find and keep good friends.

As soon as other people found out what I was, they took off running towards the hills. I became a different person I became quiet. I became un noticed. Then I thought about how Theo was looking at me. He actually followed me halfway to my house. And he was lying his ass off when he said it was because he wanted to make sure I got home ok.

But, it could never happen between us. He's a chimera, I'm an alpha of alphas. And besides, he's working with the dread doctors, and I'm betting, that Scott doesn't know that. But I could tell. The smell. The smell of rotting flesh, metal, and chemicals. It almost burns.

Oh well, it's his life. And I can't choose how he lives it. I'm just hoping that he's not to far along the wrong path. Because if he was, then he was going to do something really bad. And it definitely will not end well.

I sigh. I have too much on my mind right now. I open my window, climb across my roof, and jump down. Not even bothering to get shoes or a jacket. There was a stream nearby. I could go there.

I started into the woods quietly. Knowing very well that the beast could still be out here. Once I herd the sound of running water, I sprinted towards it. Sure enough. Here was the stream, and a bridge too. I stood on the bridge, looking into the sparkling water.

It was very calm and peaceful, until I herd a twig snap to my right. I shifted. Ready to face my attacker.
