New Girl

Ellington Academy

I went out the door and into our small, $200 car. There are only two seats and six of us. It's hard, but we make it work. When we reached Ellington, I couldn't see the school because Kellie was right next to me, blocking the window. We all got out of the car and I was in shock! The school was amazing and way more beautiful than when I last saw it. Kids were running into the school. "Are you new? I haven't seen you around." A girl holding lipstick said. "Oh, yes I am. I'm Sophie." I said. "Nice, I'm Ashley. Welcome to Ellington." Ashley said. She had dirty blonde hair just like Lucie and she was wearing a white shirt that read "Screw The World" and was wearing blue jeans. Her outfit didn't match at all. For a girl who seemed very welcoming she wasn't that welcoming. I bet she's just like Lucie. She probably couldn't care less about the world JUST like Lucie. But, I better not judge Ashley on how she looks... she seems really nice! "Thanks!" I said. As I walked into the school, everyone was looking at me. "Look at the new girl, so helpless, poor little girl has no friends, sad face!" A really mean but REALLY pretty girl said. "Just ignore her. That's Lily Smith, one of the members of The Girls, the most popular group in school." Ashley said. "Wow, she's really mean!" I said. "Yeah, wait till you see the leader of the group, Olivia White. She's so mean that even the principal and her parents are scared of her." Ashley explained. "OMG!" I replied. "Yep." Suddenly, the bell rang. "Gotta go, wait what do you have?" Ashley asked. "Uh, US history." I replied after checking my schedule. "Me too! Come on, let's go." Ashley said. "Uh, where do you think you're going, new girl with the ugliest pixie cut I've ever seen, and girl with the driest skin too." Her shirt said Olivia on it. So, she must have been Olivia White. She had black hair and she was really pretty. But not as pretty as Sallie, but she's close! "You must be Olivia White! I'm Sophie Anderson, the new girl." I said. "Wow, you have the same last name as this other new girl I met. She is WAY more beautiful than you. Her name is Sallie. She already is the most popular girl in school and now I'm second! It's an outrage!" Olivia shouted. "Sallie is my sister." I said as I walked away. "Wow, is Sallie really your sister?" Ashley asked. "yep!" I said, being proud for some reason. "i can't believe you made Olivia mad! That's so cool!" Ashley said. "Well, it's really all Sallie." I said. "haha well, see you in class Sophie! I have to go to the restroom real quick!" Ashley shouted. That's one reason I really like this school. You don't get in trouble for being late! At my old school, you had to go to the principal's office if you're late. You always had to be 20 minutes early or you have to go to the office. And the principal was so mean! Anyway, I'm so glad that you can be late! Plus, the water fountains here don't just have water... it has a variety of drinks! I already love this school!
