Good Things Don't Last Forever

-Hope's P.O.V.-

I was in so much pain the next day. but I refused to go to the hospital.I had blood all over my sheets.I couldn't bare the pain.I took the gauges off my side and took a shower,I groaned as the hot water hit my womb.I looked down and the water was pure red.I sighed and got out the got dressed."Drey!!Cj!!" I yelled throwing a towel over the stained sheets."What's up?"Drey asked peeking in the door.

"Can you come wrap my side back up?"

He nodded and grabbed the first aid kit.I moved the towel and let him clean the womb and put my gauges on it.He walked in the bathroom and put the towels in the dirty clothes and washed his hands.I laid back down and he sat on the edge of the bed."Malik said he coming by."I just nodded.I was in so much pain I couldn't even talk.Drey sighed "You know you can't walk around with a bullet in your side.You done lost too much blood.Hope you could die."

I laid my head back and sighed."Drey I'm not going to the emergency room.I will be fine.Anyway when you get your cast off?"

He shrugged "I get my boot today.The bullet had shattered my whole bone in my leg."

I nodded closing my eyes.Drey had a panicked look in his face."Hope you okay?"

I opened my eyes"Yea...I'm..fine...just..tired..I didn't..get...much..sleep..last night."I said slurring out.I closed my eyes and was out.

I woke up in a hospital bed.I opened my eyes fully and saw Malik,Drey, Cj,Asia,and Crystal.Asia had a stank look on her face,she stood there with her arms crossed.I sighed and rubbed my forehead."How long I been out?"

"All day.They took you into surgery and removed the bullets.You had 3 in you actually that's why you was loosing all that blood."Drey said.I looked over at the window and it dark outside.I just sighed.Malik sat on the edge of the bed and rubbed the side of my face "You okay?"I just nodded.

"We gone go and leave y'all two alone."Cj said,grabbing Crystal.I rolled my eyes as they left.Malik laid down with me and laughed a little "You don't seem two fond of them."

I rolled my eyes "I don't!Them two hoes tried to jump on me last night."

"They said you took them bullets like a solider."

I shrugged and laughed a little "It hurt like hell,but I managed the pain."

He stroked my cheek."I heard about you being kicked off the basketball team."

I sighed "Its okay.I don't care foreal."

"Yes you do."

"No its fine,I'm getting my degree so I should be fine."

He sighed and leaned in to kiss me,I kissed back.He pulled back and smiled "I've been waiting to do that for the longest."

I giggled a little"I know,me too."I laid my head on his chest and started to fall asleep.

-Drey's P.O.V.-

"What make you think that Asia shot Hope?"I asked Cj referring to last night.

"Okay Asia put the first bullet in her,after she was down she got shot 2 more times by them other niggas.Asia had a sly smirk on her face when Hope fell."

I ran my hands through my hair and walked in the living room where Asia was and her sister was sitting across the room mean mugging each other.I stood in front of Asia."Asia did you shoot Hope last night?"

"What?No!"She stood up.

"Asia don't lie!Did you or did you not shoot my sister?"

She got in my face "No I didn't shoot that hoe!Them niggas did!"Her New Orleans accent started to come out.

Cj stood next to us."You was standing next to her on her right side.That's where she got shot at first,then when she fell that's when they shot her.She was facing them straight not sideways or no thins.She was facing straight."

She put her hands on her hips "Your point is?!"

"You shot her."

Crystal stood up"I saw you!"

"Bitch shut the fuck up before I shot your ass!"Crystal rolled her eyes and sat down."Like I said,I didn't shoot that hoe."

She tried to walk off but I grabbed her arm and snatched her back,she had the look of fear in her eyes."Stop talking about my damn sister like that!"

She tried to pull away but I grabbed tighter "How you just gone take up for that bitch like that?!She do me so damn dirty!I'm supposed to be your girlfriend!"

I jerked her towards me "Look!That's my goddamn motherfucking baby sister!I'mma always take her goddamn side before I take your hoeish ass side!Get the fuck out my face!You better hope she don't kill your ass cause I am telling her!"I pushed her away and she stumbled and fell on the couch

"Dreyshawn?!"She started crying and ran to her old room slamming the door shut.

I shrugged and grabbed my keys."Come on Cj,let's see if we can go look at this security video.To see if she really did it."

He nodded and then we got in the car with Crystal and left.When we got to the airport it was packed as hell.Everybody was trying to get last minute ticket.We slipped past the security.Since it was so pack nobody was watching the security room.We walked in."Here Crystal,"Cj said giving her his gun."Guard that door!Don't let nobody in!Kill them if you have to."She swallowed hard and nodded.Once she shut the door.I started looking at the monitors."Cj look,they ain't even cleaned the bodies up yet."I said looking for a way to get the CD.

Cj grabbed my hands "Calm down man."

I sighed in frustration."I can't believe she shot Hope though,I know Hope was mean to her,but damn she ain't have to try to take her life."I finally got the CD,then I picked up somebody's bottle of water and spilled it all over everything,watching some sparks fly."Let's go."I said We grabbed Crystal and rushed out the airport.When we got home,I checked on Asia.She was laying down crying.I walked in and sat on the bed."Asia?"

"What the fuck you want?"

I tried to ignore that."Why you crying? You know what you did was fucked up."

She looked at me and rolled her eyes."Why you still talking to me,if you hate me?"

"Who said I hated you?I'm still pissed off as hell,but ignoring you is just childish,we're both adults and we both know what you did was low down as fuck."

She sat up hugged me,"Drey I'm sorry.I know she's you're sister,I was just tired of her talking to me like I was trash."

I shook my head "That's just how she is.She feels you as a threat.So she's tries to be the bigger threat."

"But I don't understand,she never even gave me a chance!"

"She says she gets different feelings about people and everything and she got a bad feeling from you.She told me not to fuck with you but I did anyway."

She was full blown crying "Drey I just dont understand.She could've came to me,woman to woman!"

I shrugged and started walking towards the door"Maybe she didn't do it for a reason."

"What fucking reason then?!"

"I don't know!"

"Fuck you Dreyshawn!I hate you and your dumb ass,stupid ass sister!"

I stopped in my tracks and went back to the bed and grabbed her by her arm,making her stand up and wince in pain."Look here I done told you once about talking about my sister like that!You ain't nothing,but a hoe anyway!You mad because you can't have your way!I done did almost everything for your ass.I literally made your ass and you try to kill my sister?!She gone kill your ass! Get your shit and leave!"I let her go and she flew back on the bed.

"Drey please don't do this!!I don't have anywhere to go!Please!"

"Fuck you hoe!You better be gone be tonight!"I walked out and slammed the door.I laid on my bed,I really was starting to feel her,but I guess good things don't last forever.
