Curious New Friend

You awoke too soon for your liking, seeing the moon halfway to midnight. "U~gh..." you groaned, sitting up and stroking your tail. "I will get Sebastian back for this." You declared quietly, getting up and putting on a night gown since your current clothes were damp with sweat.

You opened the door and peeked your head out, making sure no one was around before sneaking into the hall. You soon sniffed a faint scent of chicken broth, licking your lips from your slight hunger. "Think I'll entertain myself a bit" you snickered, changing into a cat.

After pinpointing the scent's location, you stealthily crawled through the open kitchen door, hiding under wheel-carts and metal tables. After slowly making your way through the tiles room, a young redhead picked you up, looking at you with a surprised face.

"Why is there a cat in here? Sebastian, is this the kitty you were referring to earlier?" She chided, making your ears rise at hearing Sebastian's name.

The tall butler leaned his head around the corner and his eyes were wide with shock, causing you to smirk internally from the new expression you got to see.

"W-why yes it is, Mey Rin. How did you get in here, [Y/N]?" Sebastian sighed.

Content with getting to see Sebastian without that annoyingly perverse smirk on his face, you jumped out of Mey Rin's arms and changed back into your human form. "Oh~, you know...sneaking out and using the size of my cat form to go unseen by the staff thanks to the variously placed furniture in this mansion." you admitted, brandishing a sneer of accomplishment, that is, until Mey Rin suddenly gripped your tail. The feeling sent a shiver up and back down your spine, forcing your knees to shake and buckle, which sent you to the floor breathing heavily.

"...Wow...and here I thought he was crazy, but Sebastian-sama was right...You're an actual Neko..." she quietly declared, holding onto the end of you tail gently.

"Mey Rin, did you know a Neko's tail is the second most sensitive part of their body, followed by their ears?" Sebastian asked, making her grip your tail harder.

You bit you lip and muffled the squeal that sprang from your throat, even though they still heard it.

Mey Rin stepped closer and ran her fingers along the furry backside of your ears, causing you to purr uncontrollably with a few mewls and pants in between. "Y-you're right..." she commented, continuing to tease your ears and tail, "But how did you know that?"

"There is a book in the master's study, located in position 826, that has all the info on Neko's imaginable." he explained.

Mey Rin stopped her teasing and stared at him, blushing a deep crimson. "A-a-anything?" she inquired.

Sebastian genuinely smiled and turned away, heading back to finish his cooking, while looking at her over his shoulder. "Yes...Anything." he replied, causing Mey Rin to drop your tail and help you up.

You sighed in pain due to your knees hitting the floor too hard, but got over it since there wasn't any scrapes or bruises. "I'm so going to get him for egging her on to tease me that way..." you thought before telling Mey Rin "Thank You."

"Hey, Miss [Y/N], would you like to go and get that book?" she asked, getting your attention swiftly.

You nodded furiously, wanting to know if Sebastian knew ALL about your kind or just the general knowledge.

Mey Rin finished her duties as soon as possible, breaking a few plates and earning the nickname, Shardmaker, which you bestowed upon her.

After that, you both quietly entered the silent halls of the Phantomhive Manor, making your way to the Master's study.
