I 'm Sorry

Why is it hard for a kid to say “I’m sorry” to a playmate when he accidentally hurt him?

Could it be compared to a woman answering “I do” to a man who forced her to marry him?

Or pleading “guilty” to a crime someone did not commit?

Would it be like undergoing an open heart surgery without the trace of the healed scar?

Would it be like putting up that broken glass without any marks?

Would it be like the pouring rain that streamed down the river and will never fall again?

Or is it like the withered leaves fell to the ground and dies in vain?

Or like reviving the life of a damned man and give him a chance to change?

Or is it like turning the vivid hue of red into gray?

Could it be like the difference between night from day?

Or the rustling wave that breaks ashore on a sunny day ?

Or undoing the mistakes of yesterday?

Would it be like declaring “I love you” to somebody you love in the truest way?

Or could it be easily accepted if it’s repetitively stated?

What if it was overly and repeteadly uttered?

Could saying “I am sorry” still mean a thing?

Would it be as easy as embracing an enemy like that of hugging a friend?

Would the apology be complete with that act of begging and kneeling down?

Asking for that pardon may be easily conveyed…

But, forgiveness is given only to those who sincerely pray,

That they’re so sorry for whatever wrongdoings they made.

Though it is more meaningful if it is to be said with earnest passion

And partnered with an honest determination, to recompense the action.

Repent for it the longest time, doesn’t compensate saying you’re sorry for whatever’s said and done.

Genuinely saying sorry means sincerity through the spoken words,

Because I’m sorry is such a strong word, as hate and love goes…

So, it is just but right pronounce it, only if you truthfully mean it.
