RIIIING!
She got up from her secluded spot by the trash can. Paused her music. Debated if she should wait for her friends. Or if she should just continue to her class.
She didn't have any friends in her first period, so she grabbed her backpack and began the small trek.
People kept getting in her way. She had to do her best not to snarl at them. She didn't like people, and liked to be touched by them even less. She wasn't used to human contact. Not any more. Not since he left.
She rushed through the crowd, doing her best to avoid touching anyone. Her teacher was standing outside the door and greeted her kindly. She returned the greeting with a slight smile.
This class in particular was funny to her. The teacher let them sit wherever they please, yet they all sat in the same seats as in the beginning of the year.
Class went by slowly, yet the teacher's words soon began to blur together. She liked this subject, delving into the past was something that used to get her curiosity running. Now though, she just wanted to get back home so she could perhaps finally get some sleep.
She sighed as she watched the minutes painfully tick past.
