Bruce and Danielle

The kiss

"Awwwwwwe!" Jemma sqealed
as she made her way into the room.  Bruce jerked up and looked down. There Danielle was, resting on his chest. (Katniss and Peeta style!!) She woke and looked around. Bruce's arm was around her shoulder and her head was resting on his chest. "Oh, get off of me!" Danielle shouts. She runs from the bed and into the bathroom. Bruce looks at the bathroom door hurt and rejected. Inside the bathroom Danielle is standing in front of the mirror with tears stinging my eyes. "I'm sorry!" Danielle whispers over and over. "Danielle? Are you ok?" Bruce says while knocking on the door softly. Danielle sniffles and comes to the crack in the door and whispers, "I'm fine, just, I don't like sleeping with my friend." Bruce looks behind him at Jemma, and mouths, "did we brake up?" Jemma just shrugs her shoulders. "Danielle, we don't have to go out if you don't want to." Bruce says barely making it out. At that time Danielle pushes the door open making Bruce stumble backward. She grabs his face and starts kissing it. She could not believe he said that. She loves him, does he love her? The let go and put their foreheads together. "Bruce why would you say that?" Danielle says. "I love you Danielle and I didn't want you to be sad if you didn't like me anymore." Bruce spills out. "Okay, so if you're done with this whole Romeo and Juliet story, can we get back to breakfast?"  Yarm asks. Danielle and Bruce both laugh, take hands and march down the stairs.  Fresh fruit was on the table. Danielle dug in grabbing all the strawberries and cramming them into her mouth. "Mine!" She yells.  Jemma walks down the stairs amazed at her behavior. "Uh Danielle, want a plate, or fork?" Danielle looks at her and smiles. "Just used to being at home where, last to the table gets nothing to eat!" They grab plates and sit down around the table. They all eat and head home. "Danielle, need a ride home or are you going to walk?" Bruce asks. "Lol I'm not walking 2 miles!" Danielle adds. Bruce laughs and picks Danielle up. She's bouncing on his back until he sets her down in the car. They both laugh. Then they drive off.
