A week later
Moala's Pov
"Okay you guys can go to dinner." Aunty Fina exclaimed.
We just finished dance practice and everyone was breathing hard. I was putting on my shoes and jacket when spotted Mo in the corner of eye. He was talking to Peter and Herison while putting up the tables and chairs. He's always laughing and has a great sense humor. I realized that I was starring a little longer than I intended, when he waved over at me. I quickly waved back and turned around. That was kinda embarrassing and my feelings are even stronger than before. I walked out of the room and went to go get dinner. Mo was the only thing running through my mind. I was losing focus at my top priorities, and I'm completely side tracked.
I was startled when Jocey punched my arm and said
"Damn girl! So rude! I'm over her saying suh-dude and you don't even answer! Damn Daniel!"
"Sorry I was ...um..."
"Oh she was thinking about Mo!" Angel teased.
"Oooo!" Angel yelled along with Melyssah.
"Oissh girl get it!" Melyssah commented.
I smiled and rolled my eyes. I grabbed my food and sat down in front of Rachie.
"So how's everything with you know?" I asked
"Complicated. That's it. Complicated." Rachie explained.
"I understand you girl. I feel you."
"I'm just trynna figure out what's all happening, you know?" Rachie responded.
Angel and Jocey sat down and started a new convo which our mind off of the guys.
When I finished dinner, I walked over to the drinking fountain and was disturbed by that topic of all my thoughts.
"So tomorrow I'm free so I could come over after school. I could drive?" He licked his lips and took a step closer.
"Yeah that sound great." I said.
He leaned forward, put his hands on my hips and pulled me to him.
"And uh... I was hoping we could do some extra credit." My heart was about to jump out of my chest and my eyes widen like they never have before.
"Okay, so its a plan." Mo winked and kissed my forehead. Its felt nice, more than good it felt amazing. He left and I squealed and was jumping for joy. I could control myself. I did my happy dance and everything. My heart was so happy, but my brain told me said no. I don't have time for a boyfriend.
Brain- NO Moala NO! He's to much to much to handle with everything you have going on. There's a big possibility that he might just lead you on.
Heart- Yas! Go for it! You can do it Mo! Everything will be just fine! You have a lot going on for you and Mo is just another good to add in your life. You were dating Jay and you guys were fine.
Brain- But they broke up, it wasn't meant to be. Mo might be the same way. He might just play or worse.
Heart- Lighten up a bit! He's a good guy and you'll never know if you try. Just go for it, it'll be okay! The heart wants what it want.
Moroni's POV
We just finished practice and I could see Moala starring at me from a far. She's so pretty and was on point in dance today. I waved over at her and I think I embarrassed her a little bit. She walked out quickly and went to go get dinner.
After I ate dinner, I went to the front and realized that I haven't made plans for my study session. I walked over to her and told her about tomorrow's study session .
"Yeah, that sounds great." She said smiling a bit.
I grabbed by the waist and pulled her up against me. I want to take thing a little further with our relationship. Her beautiful eyes widened as I winked. She's such an amazing girl and I plan to make that amazing girl mine. During the last week she's managed to build my confidence back up and helped raise my grades a little. I wanted to give her a small tocken of my appreciation with a kiss on her little forehead. I could tell that, that made happier. I walked away but I could hear her squeal down the hall. I peaked back and saw her cute little victory dance. That girl is gonna be mine.
