"Come on Lucy! We have another adventure to complete before school!" I yelled rushing out the door. I never left my camera behind. I didn't have much at all actually... I lived with my mother in a small shack like house. It was a cabin though... Mother never left the house.. Not since my father passed away at war... To this day I miss him.. I can't change anything, although I'd like to. Still everything happens for a reason, and.. I can face an adventure. Dad is still with me. You can't see air but it's still there, it's the same for my dad. All I had was a sketchbook, camera, some pencils, and a computer. While my dad was away he got me a Surface Pro 3. I had been wanting one for many years, and was so happy on my 17th birthday when I finally got one! As well he got me a beautiful camera. I couldn't be more happy. I wish my mother could feel the same, but I won't leave her...
We rushed off into the woods. Why? Well when my parents first got married they came into these very woods to marry. They had a box with this special necklace, and buried it somewhere in the woods. Mother knew I had to find this box, and would do whatever it takes. She always would tell me that love in my heart will help me find the box. I guess she doesn't mean love for my parents... I still haven't found it.. It's been so many years, but no trace of this box.. I won't give up though, and search for the one true love. I'd love to meet my soul mate, not just because of the box. I was told the necklace was for me, but I couldn't just have it handed to me. True love would help me find the necklace. That's why I'm here. I come every morning, and afternoon to find it. Have for twelve years now. Most would have gave up by now, but I'm a wanderer. Well at least that is what mother calls me. I loved the name, it was so true.
"Well.. No luck again today girl..." I sighed, patting Lucy's head gently. I took in the cold morning breeze, a smile appearing on my face. "Let's go, I need to get to school." Today is the day things would change forever for me..
