Phenomenon

I looked into her delicate eyes,

They were as soft as blue-velvet rose petals,

I could almost taste her heavenly pink lips,

She exhaled with such innocence, such grace...

-Then she began,

And what came next was like nothing I've ever seen,

Nothing I've ever heard or felt,

It was phenomenal!

Her angelic voice harmonized with the acoustics,

The heavens preached her name,

Mighty armies fell before her grace,

Demons became saints,

And my heart became entangled with hers,

My emotions were captured by each line, each word,

I had to have her, for if I didn't, I would lose my mind

It felt somewhat like a perpetual love cycle...

-But then she stopped,

And the armies marched the streets with rage,

The saints became demons,

And I was left heartless.
