My Brother's Best Friend - LH

Chapter two

"Jess!" I squealed and took my best friend into my arms. "I've missed you so much."

"It's only been a week." Jess said with a smirk and pulled away from the hug. "But- I did miss you bitch."

I giggled and gave her a short kiss to cheek as I brought her into another hug.

"Geez I didn't know I meant this much to you." She said sarcastically. "Now are you going to let me in?"

I rolled my eyes and held the door open for her and we made our way up to my room.

"What have I missed?" Jess asked me, expecting me to have a whole bunch of gossip.

"Just a whole bunch of ratchet coming from the basement." I said and rolled my eyes. Jess gave me a look of confusion, "Oh right, well uh Mike started a band. They kinda suck. Somehow they got a gig so they have been here non-stop practising."

Her jaw dropped. "You mean Mike's hot friends are in your house and your just sitting in your bed watching some lame ass show on Netflix."

"Hey! Shadow Hunters is not lame." I defended and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Yeah whatever." Jess said dramatically. "So all you've been doing all summer is lay in bed?"

"Yup."

"How are we friends?" 

"It's just one of life's mysteries I guess."

After an hour of begging Jess convinced me to introduce her to the boys.

"Uh guys this is my friend Jess." I said awkwardly to the 3 really attractive boys in front of me.

"Hey." They all said in unison.

I noticed Luke's eyes on me so I decided to talk to him. Jess was already talking to Calum and Ashton anyway.

"Hey, what's up?" I mumbled to Luke, snapping him back to reality.

"Uh nothing I guess." He said quietly. I gotta admit, he was so adorable.

"So..." I started then looked at Jess to see her sucking faces with Calum. "Jess and Calum certainly bonded."

Luke lets out a chuckle. "Sure did."

"Oi Ruby, Luke, let's play spin the bottle!" Michael said.

The group (mostly Jess and Calum) hooted and cheered.

We all sat in a circle and Michael gabbed an empty Coke bottle. "You all know how to play right?"

We all modded.

"Good." Michael said smirking.

"I'm first!" Ashton Exclaimed. He spun the bottle, it landed on Michael.

Michael gave Ash a wink and leaned in to give him a kiss. It was quite funny actually, you could see Ashton's struggle while Michael seemed pleased.

"Okay your turn Mike."

We had a few rounds and I had ended up kissing everyone except Mikey and Luke.

"It's my turn." Luke said. He spun the bottle, and it just happened to land on me. Me of people.

We both looked at each other with wide eyes. Jess gave me nod that meant I should go for it.

I leaned in and Luke seemed to get the message because he leaned in with me, then our lips touched. I could feels sparks igniting. Luke lips moved with mine so well, almost like they were meant for each other.

I jumped up onto his lap and straddled his waist, not braking the kiss once. His hands found their way down my body while mine got lost in his hair. This was probably the best kiss I had ever shared with anyone.

It was like everything made sense as we kept the kiss going. I started to slightly push my hips against his, trying to create more friction between us.

We both pulled away and looked at each other, shocked to what just happened.
