"Ok, I'm gonna tell her," you said to yourself as you slipped on a sliming tank top and some shorts. You were getting ready to meet with Lili at her house. She told you that Basch, her big brother, was out so you could have a girl's sleepover. Little did she know how nervous you were at the thought of sleeping over at her house. She would always let you share the bed with her, which is quite the predicament. You have a HUGE crush on Lili and sleeping in the same bed with her makes it impossible to sleep during a sleepover. Not to mention she always sleeps facing you so you can't help but adore her sleeping face all night like a creeper. But tonight, you're going to tell her. She is your best friend, she deserved to know how much she means to you.

You put extra clothes into a bag as you adjusted your bra for the twentieth time. "I really hate this bra," you said to yourself, "but Lili said it was cute so I gotta wear it!" You then heard your phone vibrate on your bed, making you look at the clock. "Alright, I'll be on time tonight!" you said before picking up the phone. Answering it you say happily, "hello~" A second passed before you heard the angelic voice of Lili on the other end. "Hallo, ____. I'm sorry but we can't have a sleepover at my house today," she said sadly, "Basch's trip ended early and he brought home some men to talk about work." Your heart sank as you paused your packing. "What? Man, I was looking foreword to it too," you said disappointedly.

Lili then asked, "um, _____? If it's not any trouble, could we maybe move the sleepover to your place?" You froze then quickly looked around your bedroom. It was rather clean, as you had just fixed it up yesterday, so you answered, "sure! Not a problem. Is Basch ok with you hanging out overnight tho?" She made a happy "mhm" sound before she explained, "he said it would be better for me to stay over at a friend's house while he's talking about work. He says their talking might keep me up." You were pumped at the idea of Lili sleeping over so you replied enthusiastically, "sweet! I'll meet you at your place so you don't walk alone at night. There's some weirdos out at this time." Lili said politely over the phone, "you would? Thank you again, ____." You smirked as you grabbed your house keys, saying, "anything for you, Lili! Be there in a couple minutes. Bye!" Lili replied, "ok, see you in a few minutes then. Be careful."

You ran to your front door and slipped on your running shoes.  Slipping your cellphone in your pocket, you step out your door and lock it before walking to Lili's house.  She lived just a few blocks away, but you could not risk having your vulnerable Lili walking around here at night.  Something could happen to her and you just can't bare the thought of her getting hurt.

As you walked under the night sky, you got to thinking aloud, "you know, I could totally confess under the stars.  It sets the mood and the moon light is just right too!"  Suddenly you started getting nervous.  Holding your stomach you groan, "ugh, I hate these stupid, nervous butterflies! I might just puke all over the sidewalk."

As you neared their house you spot Lili looking out the porch window.  She was wearing a cute, pink shirt with a knee length white skirt that just radiated her innocence.  You found your heart racing as you waved to her when she spotted you.  She smiled ear to ear as she disappeared from the window to later reappear at the front door.  She was carrying a rather large bag--of what you assumed was clothes--at her side.  She appeared to be struggling with it so you ran up to her to provide some assistance.  "Here," you said as you took a hold of the bag's handle, "I got it." She gave the bag to you then turned around to call into the house.  "I'm leaving now, big brother.  Have a good night," she said before closing the door.
