Violets POV

Could he see me ?

Or I was i just imagining it?

He was just standing there gawking at me.

He looked confused and a little scared.

I stared back at him,shivering as a gust of wind blew across me.

Then again the whole world seemed colder now days.

I took a small step closer. that's when a look of utter terror struck his face.

Was it real? Was there hope?

He turned and ran I didn't run after him.

I was foolish to think he could see me even if he could what was I expecting to happen?

No I didn't run after him Instead i walked.

Something I had gotten used to over the last two years.

I just walked. slowly with no thoughts in my mind, no where to go and no one to see.

I just walked

Evans POV 

I'm dreaming 

it's the only logical explanation for seeing her.

She's not real. She's not real 

I kept running further and further.my breathing was getting heavier and heavier 

She's not real.

I ran past the library and the church .

She's not real.

I ran into the forest somehow not noticing where I was going. 

She's not real. 

I ran until I was at my house.

I turned around expecting to see her behind me.

She wasn't there .

"She isn't real." I muttered to myself under my strained breathing .

I looked around.

No one was there,she was a fragment of my imagination, nothing more.

I slowly walked up the steps of my house ,still expecting to see her around somewhere.

i locked the door behind me after I went inside.Something I usually never do but for some reason I felt like I needed to.

I laid on my bed and shut my eyes.

I couldn't get her out of my head.

Every single detail of her was burned into my memory.

Her long raven hair 

Her perfectly pale skin.

Her peculiar scar that went straight across her throat.

And her eyes.

Her eyes were blank and empty as if she had just been crying yet I felt as if there was something hiding behind them.

It was as if they saw straight through me.

Like I was a ghost or something.
