Frostfur was nearly ready to to give birth to a litter of wolf pups. She lay there patiently waiting for Nightshade to return to the den. Frostfur was a beautiful, tall, white as snow wolf and Nightshade was a mighty, big, protective, pure black wolf. They were Alphas of their Wolf-Pack. They were both amazing wolves who would do anything to keep their pack safe. Their unbeatable pack was called "Frosty Wolves" Wolf-Pack. We can all agree that it sounds a bit cheesy, but as generations passed, they couldn't think of a better name. The pack included many wolves of all kinds and they were all unique. For example, LightPass was creamy, MoleSeizer was a hunter and GunShot was excellent at hiding the pack when hunters came. They all worked together as a team and succeeded throughout many generations. They were truly unbeatable and the strongest pack around in Alaska.

Nightshade ran through the night, silently, desperate to be there when the pups were born. He ran for miles with the deer in his mouth, but eventually he had to stop. He was extremely exhausted. He tried dragging the deer and he tried ripping the deer, but all he did was leave meat behind. Nightshade had to be in time to see the pups. He had to feed Frostfur. Frostfur hadn't ate anything for weeks, making sure the pack is full and not herself. Plus, a pregnant wolf would never be able to hunt down enough food for herself -not even a rabbit! MoleSeizer had tried to hunt food for Frostfur but there is no animals except the Wolf-Pack for miles and Frostfur would never let him go that far by himself. It was for his own safety. As an pack leader, Frostfur would keep every wolf safe and sacrifice many things for the pack.

Eventually, Nightshade made it with less than half of the deer in his mouth. He walked to the den, slowly, but when he got there, Frostfur was fast asleep, but not alone; with her pups sucking milk from her belly. Nightshade put the meat next to Frostfur, carefully. He didnt want to scare the pups. To the pups, Nightshade and the rest of the pack were dangerous strangers.
