Ever since I could remember my life was picture perfect. Photos, clothing, friends, and more. Only those who really knew me, knew I was a crazy person on the inside. One of those friends was Alex. (I know he sounds like a frat boy, but trust me he's not.) I truly believe he was what made my childhood incredible throughout. No I wasn't dating him, he was just my diaper buddy for life. Until one day he moved. I knew it was coming. He had told me during the summer. And I remember the whole conversation like it was yesterday. "Your really moving?" I whined. "Yea. My dad got a new job." He had said. "Who's gonna play all of our adventures games with me!?" I was now crying. "I dunno." He seemed angry and quite. 2 weeks later Alex and his family were gone. At that point 6 year olds didn't have phones, so I never got Alex's number or even his parents at the time. Sometimes I wonder what he is doing in Ohio. And I imagine what he looks like now. I bet he still has his tan, mocha skin. With his dark brown hair. Sometimes I still wonder if he thinks of me. I haven't seen him in over 10 years, but that all changed overnight.
