Miku was a bright smiling young girl. At least she used to be. This was her story, the one thing that she had left. It all stared one day in about the first grade. Yuzuki Yukari was Miku's best and only friend. They had virtually been insuperable since they were in preschool. But they always would argue, over friends, family, life style, boys attention, and many other things. Today Miku and Yukari were talking about their parents. Miku was bragging about how she lived with Master and how wonderful and caring he was. She descibed her huge Victorian mansion and how she got anything she wanted. Miku did always have the reputation of being a "princess". Yukari felt something she hasn't really felt before. Burning envy. Yukari's mother left her when she was 4 with her father. And her father was drowned in sadness and depression. He almost never left his room and would often go on debunked rampages through her house. Yukari never felt safe and never felt love. Even if Miku's parents were dead. At least they died and she knew that they loved still loved her. Yukari had always been unloved and felt unwanted. She had to fend for herself while Miku had virtually everything at her fingertips, and the love from someone. Yukari usually kept these things to herself but Miku started to cross the line that would make the little 6 year old snap.
"Gosh my life sucks sometimes...." Miku mentioned at the lunch table. She didnt realize how hard Yukari had it, and Yukari didn't realize how imperfect Miku's life truly was. Yukari stood up at the table, her hair covered her eyes as she raised a hand and punched her across the face
"How dare you..." Yukari grumbled tightening the plastic knife in her hand,"you don't even know what it's like!" She screamed hurling the knife at the young Miku,"you wouldn't know what the meaning of a "hard life" if it hit you across the face!" Before the knife could make contact with Miku's young flesh the supervisors and staff grabbed Yukari and held her down. Yukari struggled under their grip with a deranged look in her eye. Yukari was never seen at school again. She was locked away in a mental hospital and was never too see the light of day for many years to come. Miku, however, the events that happened that day took a toll on her, and she was that happy sweet girl that she used to be, and now never will be. For they were to be mortal enemies for the rest of each others lives. And this is their story.
