It’s been four days since I found out about the marriage contract. I didn't want to believe that I'd have to marry the daughter of Revolution Industries. The fact was too barbaric. The contact list I had in my office didn't help, crossing one lawyer off at a time. Eventually, they had all said the same thing, "I'm sorry Mr. Kaiba, but there is no way out of this contract with you still running Kaiba Corp." Roland had faxed every piece of paper and detail of the file to each and every lawyer.

"Even if you went along with the contract and divorced some time later, I'm afraid it wouldn't be an option. The Revolution Industry and Gozaburo Kaiba really thought this one through." Only one lawyer had enough guts to speak his mind, Mr. Albert Smith.

I should have known that something was bound to happen to me like this. It was a curse. Mokuba and I's life had been a curse until I had challenged our step-father to a game of chess. That day changed everything for us. My fists clenched together as I stared at the number for Revolution Industries. All I knew was what their business was about and the names. There were no pictures, not even on the internet. They must have had a lot of paparazzi. It didn't matter.

As I picked up the phone, I decided to switch off the screen. I clicked the button to turn it off and then dialed the number to Revolution Industries. Here goes nothing. If anything, I'd make a deal with them first. The clock in the corner of my computer screen switched to 11:38pm as I heard the phone ring. It should be 10:38am in New York.
