I'm so happy I got a chance to produce this poem today. I had the title lingering in my mind for quite a long time and glad I expressed it in a poem.
"I Hope You Dance" - Ronan Keating - - ->
~Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.~
****************
Young Hearts
You look at yourself with pride
You think you got the world before you
You believe your age gives you a reason
You step over the line
So I see, you have your ways
Creeping inside a young heart
With your twisted words
That turns sugar into ice
You steal the soul in their eyes
Breaking the harmony in their hearts
Always getting what you want
Without looking back
You see nothing wrong
It's a shame you're faceless of remorse
So I see, you choose the young hearts
That will never understand the lengths you take to disguise their realm of reflections
They cover their eyes to hide the waters
They scream inside hoping to find their way back to who they were
Only you would dig holes in their hearts
You blind them in your shadow
'Til they can no longer close their eyes
Burning the deep scars that run in their veins
The only heart you're fooling is your own lifeless, black soul

[ "How To Save A Life" - The Fray ]
~Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you begin to wonder why you came~
