Just A Poem

The cool water falls blissfully off the rocks
Following its way down the slope it resigns on
Its rustic color fading in and out as it goes
The rocks beneath it forming tiny waterfalls
Penatrating the silence of the woods
With me as it's only audience member
Admiring the cool serenity of its beauty
Contemplating how such a simple formation can hold so much power
Cooling my nerves and carrying my worries down stream along with it
Such a simple structure
Holding so much meaning in my eyes
Leaning against the moss consumed tree without a fear
Feeling the wind run smoothly over my rough skin
Making me surrender all of my internal conflicts
"Finally at peace" I smile
