When I Remember (InTheLittleWood FanFiction)

Chapter 1: Where is he at?

The last thing I remember, was a symbol. I don't know how to explain it though.



My name is Mikayla, but only call me Kayla... Or else. I might seem like a normal teenage girl... But, no, I am a total geek, nerd, or whatever you want to call me. But I am not normal. I play video games such as Minecraft, Portal, ect. And trust me I know way to much stuff about computer than I should.

Well I also have light blond hair, my favorite color is green, I have blue eyes...

Um, heh, I should stop talking about me, shouldn't I... Heh heh...



My best friend is Martyn. He and I are closer than, the space in between your nail and your finger. Um no, ew. Hmmmmm. How about, the space between pages of a book... Eh good enough. So, yeah, we spend all our time together, on the phone or just texting each other... No that was last year. Now he is always "working". He doesn't even tell me where he works. So now it's just every now and then that we see each other. It's sad, I feel like we are heading separate ways... No I won't let that happen. *sigh* But we still might.



The Day After

(Kayla's P.O.V)

Today is when I am going to find out where Martyn is always disappearing to. Ok here's the plan. I am going to text him to come over and then when he gets here I won't be inside, I will be outside hiding behind a bush near the driveway. So when he gets here he will ring the door bell and wait on my porch.

While he is waiting for me to answer the door, I will sneak to the back of his car and hop into his trunk. Then he will get back in the car and go back to work! Since he is taking his lunch break out he has to go back to work anyway! So I will watch him and when he gets in the building, that's when I get out of the trunk and look to see where he is always at. Then I will know his secret!



(Martyn's P.O.V)

Kayla just texted me to take my lunch break off so I can visit. I immediately say yes. A few seconds later I get a text back saying "Cool beans see you in half an hour!" *Sigh* she can be so hyper sometimes, some people think its annoying, but I just think its funny.


(Half an hour later)


I just arrived at Kayla's house and I just rang the doorbell. I wait a few seconds and no one answers. I wait an whole minute and still no response. Then I get a text that she had to leave for a emergency. I actually feel really sad, I was looking forwards to seeing her again.

I walk back to my car and I think I'll go back to work.



(Kayla's P.O.V)

Yes! My plan is working perfectly! Now he is coming back and soon I will know where he is always at! Ok now he is in the car, I have to be really quiet...
I smell cookies... They smell good... KAYLA!!!! FOCUS! God I can get really distracted sometimes...



(Ta west of ta borin car ride)



Ah, he is pulling up some where. I look out the back window to check where we are... Yes in a parking lot. Now I just wait... And wait... And wa- *The car door opens* I wait a few seconds then pop my head up and look through the window.
Keeping my eye on the prize, not even realizing the name of the place. I just sat there waiting for him to get in the building... C'mon almost there... Just a few more steps... Aaaaannnnddd your in! Great! I grab on to the handle to open the trunk. I pull the handle and push the door. Oh crab, he locked it.

I panic and start to go a bit crazy, but then I got a hold of myself. Ok Kayla just look at the name of the building through the window. I look up and see the name. At first I was confused.

But then it clicked.
