Friday, March 13th, 6 days after contamination, Ava side

“Hey, Lilou, hurry up! We need to get to the airport in like, 3 minutes!” I yelled down the hall to wherever Lilou was at. I put on a black tank top with the ‘toxic’ symbol on it that had the words Xomby-C under it. I slipped into a pair of jeans and grabbed my black and neon green DC’s. I put my hair up in a ponytail and let my bangs fall over my left eye. I replaced my normal earrings with some small gages and made sure everything was the way I liked it.

“Give me a minute! I need to make sure everything’s packed!” I heard Lilou faintly yell from somewhere around the house. We where able to get packed within a few minutes when I heard a knock on my door. “I got it!” I ran to the door and quickly opened it as I brought the bags to the step. “Hell-“ I stopped.

“Hello ma’m. We are with the Apple Valley police department and we are going door-to-door telling people to stay in their house. There have been some strange things happening ever sense the accident happened at the lab. Thank you.” A young man in a police uniform said.

“Whoa! We are supposed to be at the airport in a few minutes! We have a flight that leaves soon!” I yelled as the police walked away. They all stopped.

“No, your not! You have to stay in your home. We have authorization to use force for anyone who disobeys.” He put his hand on his tazer and a smirk came across his face. “Do you understand?”

“Yes, of cores sir!” Lilou said before I could get anything out. Most likely for the best that she did to. They said good-bye as she shut the door and sighed. “So, I guess no trip.”

“Who the fuck do they think they are!? We have been saving up for ever for this trip! Now we can’t even go!? What the hell!” I yelled as I punched a hole in my wall. My anger was boiling over when Lilou touched my shoulder.

“Hey, calm down. I need you too for a few reasons. One, I cant keep fixing your wall because it’s a lot of money. Two, It doesn’t matter how angry you get. We wont be able to go on the trip.”

“Fine, lets see what’s going on in the world I guess.” I went up the few stares I had and sat back down on the couch. I grabbed one the many remotes and turned on the TV. The news came on.

“We have had many incidents where people have been killed. We do not know who is killing them or why but many of the people seem to have been eaten. We advise everyone to stay home and bored up your doors. And now, we go to J-“ Lilou shut the TV off again.

“Wow. Common, lets bored up the house.”

“Y-yea. Ok.” I sighed and got up, not knowing what we was going to happen within the next few days. And not knowing how our lives will be changed and our friendship pushed to the limits.
