Love At First Bite

CHAPTER 1

Aurora's Pov

"But I don't want to move " I whined while I was packing my room. Leaving this house is the hardest thing that I have ever had to do. Dad, Shaloma and I have had so much memories here. It's where we were born and grew up. Leaving here would be like leaving my most precious jewelry in a changing stall in the mall. My heart was broken into a million pieces.

"Honey it'll be fine " my dad said trying to comfort me.

"Yeah, he's just makiung us move in with our new step mother and step sister and ripping our hearts out. " said Shaloma in anger.

"Don't worry everything will be fine, we'll make new memories there with Rose and Tyra" he said.

"Yeah but all my memories with mom were here"I said withholding the tears that threatened to pour out of my eyes. My mother and I had the perfect relationship. I'll never forget the love we had. I'm convinced that I'll never be able to have the bond that my mother and I shared again, especially with that gold digger named Rose. It was obvious the minute that we met her all she ever wanted from dad was his money.

"Honey don't worry everything will be fine. "

"But it'll never be the same "

"Dad she's right this house has been in the family for years we can't leave it now"Shaloma added.

"Girls I know this is hard for you but this is a new chapter of your lives starting today,OK, it'll be
fi- "

"Does she even know your a vampire?" Shaloma asked.

"Yes...... she does. She didn't react like I thought she would but she knows " he said.

"And she just accepted it?"I asked with little bit of attitude.

"Her reaction was calmer than I expected,it was like she knew something " he said.

"Do you think she found out on her own?"

"Hopefully not "

"Yeah, if she did we wouldn't be leaving"said Shaloma.

"C'mon I think I see her pulling into the driveway. Grab some boxes and carry them down." he said with a smile imprinted onto his face.

"K " Shaloma and I mumbled.

Calum's POV

"K" the girls muttered under their breath. I know they haven't been to psyched about moving but I know that after a while they wouldn't trade moving for anything. I could sense they're anger and its very strong. I know taking the girls away from here would be like taking their hearts out of their bodies. They wouldn't be able to survive. I left the room last cause I was picking up some boxes. I walked through the hallway and down the stairs just in time to hear Shaloma's outburst.

"You'll never be our mother no matter how hard you try .  You are just a sick golddigger and such a slut I can't even look at you  And your using my dad but he's too blinded to see it! I wish you two never got married! "

"Look Shaloma I-I know how you feel-"she stuttered.

"Shaloma! " Aurora yelled.

"What are you really gonna blame me? You hate her just as much as I do and you know she's using him too " Shaloma said.

"Shaloma you will not speak to your mother like that."I scolded.

"She's not my mother! She never has been and never will be! Can't you people just get that in your heads already! "Shaloma screamed.

"Shaloma , I don't know what's going on but you have to accept that we are a whole family now"I said trying to stay calm.

"You know what just forget it, let's just get to the house."She said.

I stayed wondering what was going on with my daughter.

Shaloma's Pov

I got into the car and sat quietly waiting for us to leave. I can't believe that he's making us move and then I get into trouble for speaking my mind, does that even sound the least bit fair to you. I've always been told to say What I feel and now that I've said it it's such a big deal. It's like no one knows what they want here. Aurora then opens the car door and I move around for her to sit.

"Their on their way, dad's just getting some of your paintings" she said.

"K" I mumbled.

"You know you didn't have to be so rude to her. She really wants to be accepted into this family."

"Yeah, well she can stop trying I'm already convinced "

"Look, dad's really into her the least we can do here is respect her, after all we have to live with her. "

"I know it's just that I can't stand the thought of anyone hurting him. I mean the man always wears his heart on his sleeve. I just don't want anything bad to happen. "

"Neither do I but the most we can do is tell him how we feel"

"I know I just don't want our family to change"

"It isn't changing we're just getting a couple more brushes to the paint set, speaking in artist terms"

"Fine, I'll try to accept it." I said rolling my eyes.

"Your daddy told me to tell you guys that he's coming, he's just getting your stupid paintings " she directed that last part to me. Even though Tyra is like 10 she still talks like a three year old to anyone who annoys her, and I think I'm number one in the list.

"Well your mommy thinks that she paints very nice " said Aurora. "She's lying straight to your stupid little faces. My mommy hates you she only loves me. " Tyra boasted. "I find that hard to believe "muttered Aurora under her breath. Tyra didn't hear at first but after I made it obvious by bursting into laughter she told on us,typical Tyra.

"Girls we're leaving! " dad shouted.

Okay guys that's the first chapter of the rewrite. For this one I just edited it a little but I'll be writing over the rest. It might be less chapters than the first one but I'm not exactly sure yet. I wrote soooo much crap in the other one its not even funny. But yeah be expecting an update sometime soon hopefully.
