After our heartwarming goodbye I walked up to the gates and waited for Izumo and Kotetsu to come stop me.
Funnily enough they were asleep so I just walked in and headed toward the hokage office.
As I was growing closer I let more and more of my chakra leak through my concealment. I wanted to see who they have guarding the hokage nowadays.
When I got to the doors of the hokage office I knocked and soon heard the hokage's old but still welcoming voice say 'come in'
I walked in and bowed in respect. I may not have lived in Konoha, But I was still taught some shred of respect.
"Who are you and What business do you have here?" The Hokage calmly asked as the anbu around him were tense and on guard, kunai brandished in front of themselves. I decided to conceal my chakra now, but that didn't seem to calm them one bit.
"My name is Akari Kobayashi and I would like to stay in Konoha and become a ninja." I stated quietly, looking up at the hokage as realization took over his features.
"Akari, I thought you had died along with the rest of the clan..." He mumbled looking at me suspiciously.
"That is one upside to being hated by your clan. When everyone else is slaughtered, you aren't with them" I mumbled picking at my nails in disinterest.
"I will allow you to stay in Konoha, but on the condition that you go to the academy and join a team when the time comes." Hokage-sama stated.
"Then may I ask one more thing of you?" I looked up at him with my mismatched eyes as he motioned for me to continue.
"When I pass the genin exam, may I wear my villages headband instead of the leaf village?" I asked hesitantly.
"I will allow this, but still have the leaf village headband with you just in case." He said after some thought and I sighed in relief.
"Is it alright if I go to the academy now?" I asked hopefully. If my calculations are correct Suki-chan should still be in the academy. All it took was Hokage-sama's nod of approval to send me booking it out of the Hokage tower.
Soon enough, because of my speed, I was inside of the academy searching for Sasuke's classroom. Once I found it I burst through the door.
I placed my hands on my knees in an attempt to catch my breath and Iruka-sensei was just standing there looking confused and peeved. My eyes scanned the classroom before landing upon my duck-butt haired best friend.
"SUKI-CHAN!!!!" I yelled, launching myself toward the young male, who unfortunately was not expecting me to do this. Meaning both of us ended up on the floor, me straddling and hugging the life out of him and him looking annoyed and trying to get me off. That is until he noticed my new Uchiha necklace.
"Where did you get that?" He growled out, glaring up at me and I just pouted. This wasn't the Suki-chan I remembered.
"Don't you remember me Suki-chan? Ita assured me you would when you seen it." I pouted, looking at him teary eyed. He looked into my mismatched eyes as recognition flashed through his onyx eyes.
"K-kitty-chan?" He mumbled out, quiet enough that only me and him had heard, before getting up and dragging me out of the classroom with him.
Before I left the classroom entirely I heard a gasp quickly followed by a growl.
"Take care of my sister Sasuke! I'll find you two soon!!" Nii-chan yelled.
