Chris looked out of the window for the second time trying harder to get distracted, no matter how he looked at it his eye lids were getting heavier. so dizzy.

He immediately entered his imaginery state once again, as a young guy of 18 years he always finds himself thinking with vivid illusion what he would always want to be when he grows up. he really hoped all would finally go as planned in the reality. Just now he is still seated down in class, he is at the same time in his world of illusion having everything he needs and playing celebrity role.

"Hmm", he was jolted back to reality by his course mate - Frank.

"What?" He replied not really appreciating the fact that he was called back from the idealist world, you can always be what you want to be there.

''It's over, aren't you going to get something to eat?'' Frank persisted still surprised with was going on with his friend. it would really take more than wondering to know what the mind thinks.

"Thanks man, you did well. lets go''

They left for the cafeteria located in the south wing of the university. Both were always good in dressing decently if not gorgeously. they wouldn't just be average guys if not for Chris's simplicity at times.

"Hi" someone called up from behind. they turned and they recognised the girl as their course mate Clara.

"Nah nah''  Frank whispered to Chris, this meant fresh trouble cause Clara is the notice-me-type of girl that chose to always make noise about certain thing a girl shouldn't make noise about what is not meant to be made noise of. For Chris, he always hates when people tend to show off on daily basis certainly she wasn't his type even though she was manageable.

"Just wanted to hang out with you guys'' she said chuckling yet breathing heavily.

They both smiled pretentiously.

"How are you Chris?" She asked.

"Always cool and you?" he replied

" Fine, Frank don't expect me to ask you" She said winking at Frank. she positioned herself between them, that's her normal pompous attitude.

"By the way we are heading to crunches cafeteria, are you up for it?'' Chris said trying to dissuade her, he couldn't remember when last he ate with a girl. not that something was wrong with him but recently he finds himself too busy to involve himself in matters of that importance.

He really expected a negative answer and here was it.

"Who says no to food, am up for it and on your account" she giggled mischievously.

no way this is getting out of Chris's control, he is all emotional right now. Frank tapped his shoulders saying

''Don't worry''

Chris nodded he was really grateful that he had a friend that knows very much about girls which most a times was annoying cause the only useful thing he discusses is all about his endeavours.

They pushed the glass door inside, students and outsiders of different calibre were already sitting down respectively eating and discussing. The trio went to the counter, ordered and searched for where to sit down in the hall.

Finally they found a secluded part mainly influenced by Chris idea cause left for Clara-sanguine she would go to the middle of the eatery to be noticed by all. Sitting down the famished Clara started shoving hers into her mouth without much decorum to the surprise of Chris while Frank continued giggling.

"Looks like we've saved a life today" Chris said expecting another shocking experience.

"Yea yea"she said in a barely audible voice because of the large chunk in her mouth. They continued to eat their food peacefully. Chris observed their mates in different groups eating- those that think they are the caucus members of the class, the pretentious, the selfie-crazy group, the dancers, nerds, jocks and the opposing group that tackles every suggestion made.

"Are you not eating any more?" Clara asked, referring to him.

"No, am okay with the one I took" he replied, she is always tackling him and she can never change.

"Then let's leave, we have a lecture to catch and its almost time" Frank said as he stood up. Clara finished hers by gulping the contents of her juice.

As they approached the exit door together someone called out

"Clara!!" they all turned in response to see who called and it was Barry, Clara's male dark friend who was respected cause of his huge body structure. Chris and Frank waved sarcastically to him in greeting.

"I'll catch you later guys, thanks for the lunch" she said as she ran towards her friend.

Chris looked at Frank sighed and said

"Girls!!".

Frank in turn smiled and they moved towards their hangout area.

It is already three o'clock in the evening, there was nothing else to do in the boring environment most students are loitering around both those having lectures and those that have finished for the day. Chris was still sitting on the bench browsing with his galaxy tablet while directly opposite him was Frank stretched lazily on the bench snoring heavily.

"Huh..m..m..m..m" He muttered in between the rhonchi.

This is so weird, in broad daylight yet someone is snoring to that extent. Chris felt like waking him up but he felt it was better to let sleeping dogs lie. Chris looked around trying to analyse what is happening in such a cool environment, he could hear the birds chirping and it was the Prairie Warbler. Also near the old bench was the Royal empress tree with fragrant blooms, he really admired those flowers they had cute aesthetic values.

bash!!

A thud distracted him from his thoughts, he turned to see what happened and it was Frank. He stood up dusting himself with a smile on his lips. This was really funny but Chris couldn't laugh at his friend.

"Are you okay?" Chris asked trying to help him.

"Yea...no..I mean yes, I wasn't sleeping" He replied chuckling.

"I know, I didn't ask you whether you were sleeping or not" Chris said giggling.

"lets go and I needn't remind you not to talk about this" Frank warned with mock seriousness. They laughed and left for their lodge.
