We walked into the cobbler shop, and I looked over to Anya. It was actually kind of hard to see her face when she was standing right next to me, because she is so tall.
But I could see enough to know that she loved the view of this little oasis that is a shoe shop. I smirked because I was so right about it being great. Ha, Drizella was missing out on all the fun. From the moment I saw Drizella, my intuition told me not to trust her.
But when I saw Anya, I could tell she is special. I felt a need to be her friend. I could tell she had a hard past. I have that within me, to know about people without meeting them first. My mother says it's a gift. Said.
We neared the front counter where Jessica was putting some shoes in a box for two girls. She was smiling, so I knew she must have been visited by John today. Her and John are such a cute couple. I'm so glad that they could fin each other. He is about the only thing that keeps her happy. She smiled at Anya and me as the girls left.
"What can I help you two with today?" She asked. I answered, "this is my stepsister Anya, and I brought her here to shop for some shoes. Do you have any ones without a stain?" I laughed on my head at my one joke. Crickets on the outside. Oh well.
"Well," Jessica said, we have a new collection over here. "Information from the castle leaked out to us clothing designers that the ball at the castle next month is one to find a wife for the prince, and any commoner girl can come!" I gasped.
That is so fun! Maybe I even have a chance with the prince. I looked to Anya and she didn't seem to care. Her gaze was on the shoes with heels behind the desk that were a bigger size.
"So," Jess continued,"Our lines of clothing are the most beautiful this month, because every young lady want to impress his majesty." She led us to the magnificent shoes in the front.
She continued," once this information of the theme is spread, I predict this store will get a lot more customers." She smiled at that.
I never heard much about Prince Charles, except he is very handsome. Really though, that means nothing, because every King and Queen want their people to think that their son or daughter is absolutely perfect, so they can have false information about the Prince spread.
In my head though, he is very handsome. Both his mother and father are extremely attractive (my mother has actually seen them in real life) and that beauty could not go unpassed to their children.
Prince Charles in never at the balls. No explanation has ever been given by embarrassed parents, but I bet that he has just been out on hunting trips or foreign countries.
"Anyway," Jess continued, pulling me away from my thoughts, "let me show you two are new collection"
