When I hit solid ground I found myself laying down. Everything hurt. Did I really hit the ground that hard? I looked around, everything looked brighter and yet it looked more eerie than back home. Well I guess I should start calling this home right? I smelt the grass which I was sprawled against, it smelt sweeter than honey. I picked I strand and started putting it into my mouth. As it touched my lips I heard a voice behind me say, "I wouldn't do that if I were you, lubirea mea." I jumped up now clearly aware of the stranger leaning against the tree gazing at me. I look around and see that Calaen is gone. Aaaugh! Where is that person when you need him? "Who are you and what do you want?" my voice was clear and it was ringing in the large meadow. The stranger just chuckled and walked towards me his hood still up. What is up with people these days and wearing hoods? I mean, come one, it is just too damn annoying! "You already know it, lubirea mea," he said stalking closer to me. I gulped, shivers running down my spine. Before I know it, the stranger is in my face and he has one pale hand affectionately stroking my cheek. "You don't know how long I've waited for you to become of age," his breathe smelt like mint, which I found extremely intoxicating. Wait hold up Alex, you can not be thinking that right now. He wrapped his hands around my waist and growled into my ear. "You are mine!" That sent shivers down my spine again. What is happening to me. "I see you two are getting reacquainted, " came an amused voice from up in the tree. I looked up and saw Calaen smirking, hanging upside down on a tree. Oh I am going to kill guy! The stranger growled, "I can smell your scent on her, why?" his voice was cold. "Calm down Dimitri, I was just carrying her home. She was exhausted, " he was still smirking. 'Dimitri' buried his face in the crook of my neck, breathing in deeply. I pushed him away, "What the hell do you think you are doing?" Dimitri growled and started to stalk towards me. Every step he would take towards him I would take two steps back because was like freakin 6ft tall.
I looked to Calaen for help but he just shrugged. Well that put him on the top of my blacklist. "Get away from me," I growl, I feel my hand start to heat up. I focus on my rage and make it grow until there is a massive ice shield around me. I start to expand it and make my ice shield push 'Dimitri ' towards a tree holding him there with ice. But to my surprise he just burst out laughing. "She's just like her mother," he said still chuckling. "She's definitely a keeper!" Calaen smirked. "Well of course she is going to be tough, the goddess of the moon wouldn't have given me a weak mate. " I heard Dimitri say. I was very confused, what the heck is going on?! I let the ice shatter with a wave of my hand and Dimitri landed gracefully on the ground. He walked to me brushing ice off of his shoulder, his dark hood still put a shadow over his face and features. "Well, I think it is time for you to meet your mother," Calaen announced and he pulled out another glass ball. I groaned. You have got to be kidding me! Going through the portal, flet like being flushed down a giant drain! It made me feel sick, dizzy and light headed. Dimitri smirked as if he could hear my thoughts. Maybe I could find a different route to get, I think pondering my escape. Calaen must have caught on to what I was thinking because he shook his head smirking and said, "Sorry Princess, there's no other way." I wanted to argue with him because he seemed to be enjoying this way too much. As I opened my mouth I was thrown over a hard shoulder and dropped into the portal. I was soo going to get that person back!
