The breaking news dropped down like snow,
but exploded like a bomb;
breaking every piece of me into splinters,
Telling me every ever after doesn't last forever.
The breaking news rang loud on my ears,
but I did not go deaf
Instead it made me hear clearer,
But I refused to understand a single word.
The breaking news did break me,
Like throwing a rock on a glass window,
Or hearing your voice on an audio;
Then the screech of a wheel down the street,
and the man I love covered with a white sheet.
