I looked in the mirror and sighed. I had the Batman costume on and it just felt wrong." Ugh!" I punch the mirror, it shattered under the impact of my fist. I breath in fast and shake my head pulling off the cowel. Ok Dick. You can do this just don't over react and blow your cover. Ok calm down... ok let's do this! I thought to myself pulling the cowel up. I then put on an emotionless expression and walk out the door of my apartment towards the nearest zeta tube. I am Batman!

I arrived at the mountain and thankfully Flash had already changed my name from Nightwing to Batman."Batman B02" the computer announced as I was now the center of attention. I glared and walked over to the team, my cape flying behind me. The team stood in shock as I walked up to the league. Flash stepped forward and 'explained' to the team about how I'm Batman and I faked my death." I regret to inform you that Nightwing is busy in Blüdhaven so he will not be joining us. His mission is crucial so there will NOT be any contact with him. There are no missions at the moment so you may have to day off but be prepared if anything should happen." I said and Megan nodded in agreement.

I looked back at the league." I have business in Gotham. I will be back when a mission needs to be given." I say in a dark voice and Superman nods. I walk out the door catching a glimpse of Wally's disapproval. I hop on my motorcycle and speed off towards Wayne Manor, after the delay of being called to the mountain it will be good to visit a friend.

I was now in the Batcave under the manor. I pull the cowel off and change into my regulars clothes, when I'm done I make my way upstairs to the ground floor." Alfred?" I called out. Almost as soon as I called, a elderly man walked out of one of the rooms and smiled when he saw me.

"Master Dick! How are you? The League informed me of master Bruce's... death. I look at Alfred as a tear went down my face. We hugged each other and Alfred pulled away looking sad but not because of Bruce's death." Master Todd um... is gone." Alfred said quietly and I was shocked, Jayson was dead too!" Master Todd went after the Joker while master Bruce was with you on Apocalypse. The Joker blew up the building he was in and master Todd unfortunately died in the explosion. I felt tears in my eyes again, I didn't know Jason very well but I met the kid a couple of times while he was out on patrol without Bruce. Joker! I clench my fists and sit down in a chair, rubbing my temple.

"Two people dead in the Batfamily because of me... Bruce died because he stepped in front of a bullet, Jason died because Bruce was with me. Bruce helped me and Jason died, Bruce helped me and he died... I didn't even tell him that I loved him." Dick said, tears flooding his cheeks. Alfred was heartbroken at the sight of his close friend, traumatized and hurt by the recent events. Alfred patted Dick back as they both cried silently for their family. Dick then got a call from the league saying that the team has a mission and they need Batman to give it to them. Dick got up and smiled at Alfred." Well. Duty calls, and if you ever need help... Batman will be here to help!" Dick said as he ran towards the secret entrance to the Batcave.

Dick was suited up as Batman and he hopped into the batmobile. Batman drove off out of the cave towards Mount Justice." What's the mission?"
