He calls Alec.

"Hi, you've reached Alec Lightwood, sorry I can't get to the phone right now, but I'll get back in touch with you later, thanks, bye."

*the door bursts open*
J: "Magnus hurry we need your help!"
M: "What, what is it?"
J: "Its Alec."
M: "What do you mean?"
*Jace uncovers the body, its Alec*
M: "Oh My God, Alec. What happened?!"
I: " He came to help me and he was attacked before he could reach the Institute."
J: "Clairy found him outside in the woods."
C: "When I saw him, he wasn't breathing or moving."
*Magnus slowly looks at Alec and tears start to fall from his face.*
