"Life has a way of testing our anchors and tempting us to drift.  Nevertheless, if our anchors are correctly placed in the rock of our  Redeemer, they will hold no matter the force of the wind, the strength  of the tide, or the height of the waves".
-Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Thank you Nana, for always being the rock of reliance throughout my  life. You have picked me up an endless amount of times, moments where I  felt as if the weight of the world was crushing my weak demeanor. You  have nurtured me back to a healthy state countless amounts of times and  you never once gave up on me.

Through all my successes, failures and painful lessons. You have  stood firmly by me, pushing me forwards in times I was reversing, into  the clutches of a dangerous path. You have constantly provided me with  nothing but love and guidance, in the moments where I felt greatly  deprived of those specific forms of support. At one point, you were the  only stable figure in my life, a figure who was always able to provide  for me in the times I needed it most.

All I do is for you, I want to make you proud of me. At the  extraordinary age of seventy seven, you opened up your doors and  provided me with a home. More importantly, you provided me with so much  of your valuable time and energy. A level of commitment in which you  have always exceeded for me.

I want to show you that your efforts haven't been for nothing.  Everything I do in my life journey will always be in thought of you.  Your support and praise and even your concerns will always be  appreciated and taken into consideration. Your input to my life means  more than anything to me, something I value at the absolute highest.

Thank you for teaching me the values you have and for showing me how  important it is to remain a good person, to see the admirable elements  in life and strive towards the goals I have ambitiously envisioned for  myself. You have always seen potential in me that I couldn't find within  myself and you have always reminded me of my self worth.

You have invested so much of your time into making sure I'm on the  best path and living up to my potential. This element of time in which  you will never be able to get back, a concept in which I will never be  able to truly repay you for. All I wish for is to make you feel  dignified, in the time we have left together I want to consistently  flourish and grow before your very own eyes. Always remember that you  are a priority in my life.Through the fast paced style in which I live,  just know I will always be there for you! Like I know you'll always be  there for me, no form of time will ever change that.

You are my physical Angel xxx

This book is also dedicated to my Grandmother, Mary.

Mary sadly took her life, removing herself from the world before I  was born into it. As an active sufferer of depression, her dark thoughts  took over her mind. Ridding her of any drive or positive thoughts for  the future, resulting in her hanging herself.
Her last moments in life were spent alone in the gloomy confinements of  the garage, located out in the back yard and positioned away from her  family home. The home in which just before taking her life she had spent  cleaning, and folding up everyone's laundry. Her plan for her own  personal surrender to the hardships of life were not at all in vain. My  Grandma left everything in perfect order for her husband and five  children, before making the permanent decision to end it all. Her  lifeless body was found later that day, a tragedy that could have being  avoided if she had accessed the help she so desperately needed.

Grandma, I hope you are free from any form of darkness. Although I  have never had the chance to be graced in the blessing of your physical  presence. I have perceived your spiritual companionship and I have  thought of you often through the process of writing this book.  Especially during very painful and dark times, I had to reminisce and  fluently elaborate about.
