Class had just let out and I was walking home when suddenly someone crashed right into me. I caught myself, but I can't say the same for the other person.
I bend down to help the person up when I noticed that it was Akari! Why was she crying? I'm going to kill whoever made her cry.
"I'm so sorry" she sniffled trying to wipe her tears away while I was attempting to help her up.
"Akari, what happened?" I asked worriedly, She looked up, eyes glistening with tears. It broke my heart.
She blurted something out quickly, So quickly that I couldn't make out what she was saying.
"Do what? Wait i'm confused." I shook my head trying to figure out what she said.
"Did Itachi really slaughter the Uchiha?" She asked worriedly. I dropped my head sadly. I wish she would've had more time to adjust to the leaf village before hearing of this.
"Ya Kari... he did." I said, sadness leaking into my voice, causing her to burst into tears again.
"NO! NO HE COULDN'T!" she yelled dropping to her knees and grabbing at her hair. She is getting many strange looks from everyone around her. Great first impression. Suddenly I felt an oppressing amount of chakra, I looked around to see the anbu black ops surrounding us, kunai raised.
"Akari! You have to calm down." I Warned, engulfing her in a hug and rubbing her hair soothingly. This is bad.
Eventually she did calm down and the chakra dissipated, the anbu left too. I was still holding onto her, whispering soothing words to her.
"He really did it..." She hiccuped and held onto the front of my shirt tightly. Poor thing, she's so broken right now.
"I told you." Sasuke said as he walked up. So he was the bastard who told her!
I growled and jumped in front of her protectively, forcing her to let go of me. I'll kill him.
"This is all your fault! You had to tell her?!" I yelled, glaring at sasuke, kunai raised.
"She would find out eventually" Sasuke glared back.
"You couldn't have let her live in ignorance for a little while longer? She just got home again." I said sadly. Because of this she might leave again... She has a tendency of running from her problems and getting into trouble.
"The sooner, the better." Sasuke sighed, holding out a hand for her. "Come on, you can live with me, you don't have a house, right?"
"Like hell she's living with you, she's my sister! Why would I let her live with some hormonal teenage douchebag?" I scuffed, throwing the kunai at Sasuke's feet. What, is he crazy?
"Exactly, why would she live with you?" Sasuke quipped, making her giggle lightly. Bastard. She slowly got up and brushed the dirt off of her pants before going over to him.
"I wanna live with Sasuke... Kay." She asked me. I was totally against it, but one look in her eyes and I couldn't say no to her.
