~ AN ~
Hey everyone. I wanna start off by saying thank all of you for six HUNDRED reads. Seriously! Y'all are amazing and I appreciate that. Second, all those blue countries? That's where Wattpad is saying all of you guys are from. So people in France, Indonesia, and South Africa you guys are awesome. All of y'all are awesome. Stay lovely, my lovely lovlies.
~ AN end ~My eyes fluttered open and I sat up. To my relief, I wasn't plagued by any nightmares. If I was, I can't remember a damn thing. I slid out of bed. I began walking over to the dresser in the barely lit room. The sun had yet to rise on this day. Oh how I wished it would stay that way. That meant more sleep!
My uniform, which looked like it had been washed, lay atop the dresser. I grabbed it and made my way to the bathroom. I walked in. Everything looked perfectly normal, except for one thing. All my basic necessities were in the place I left them, so that wasn't it. The only thing I hadn't taken notice of before was the note that lay right next to the sink. I picked it up.
It read: "It seems that the waterworks of your time and our time are vastly different. Follow the included instructions, which are hidden somewhere in this room, to find out how our waterworks work. Enjoy the little game, Sebastian Michaelis."
"Damn you, demon!" I whispered to myself and crumpled up the note into a ball. That's when I noticed the writing on the back. I unraveled it and saw the instructions. "Okay. Maybe I don't damn you that much now, but still damn you demon!"
{ A shower/bath later~ }
I stepped out feeling refreshed and wrapped myself in a towel. There was a knock at my bedroom door. I wrung out my hair, so it didn't drip on the carpet, and walked to the door.
"Who is it?" I asked, my voice seeming a bit high-pitched. Probably a terrible voice crack.
"It seems you won the little game I had for you. Very quickly, at that fact." Sebastian's voice cane out from behind the door.
I sighed. "What do you want?"
I could practically hear his smirk. "Is there anything you need help with in there? I'm sure I had left a towel, but I could go fe-"
I cut him off. "Everything is fine. I'll be out momentarily!"
I ran back to the bathroom and prepared for the day. Basic necessities, my uniform, checking what YouTubers uploaded what videos the past few days that I was going to have to try and catch up on. As for my hair, well I just brushed out and said "SCREW IT!" Internally, yes, but with the passion of a thousand firey suns.
I walked out of the bathroom and opened the door. Sebastian stood next to the door and instantly straightened himself.
"Is Grell here yet?" I asked, looking up and down the hall.
"No, but he and Madame Red are on their way." He said, checking his pocketwatch.
"So why the hell did you wake me up?" I leaned against the door frame.
"I'd like your assistance with breakfast for the young master. Now come along." Sebastian turned and began walking down the hallway.
I instinctively opened my mouth to protest but shut it after realizing there was no point in doing so. I rolled my eyes and followed behind the raven-clad butler.
As we arrived in the kitchen the sun began to rise, greeting the day with a brilliant light. The kitchen was flooded with an array of pinks and reds.
"Wow," I whispered in awe. Not only was the light filling the kitchen breath-taking, the kitchen itself was on its own breath-taking.
Sebastian snapped me out of my daze. "Don't stand there like an idiot, Y/N. There are things to be done"
