"How many times do I have to tell you to not eat garlic!" Jay yelled at Silvano, snatching the bread out of his hands.
"Okay okay! I'm Italian remember! It's hard to refrain!" he held his hands up in surrender and backed up. She shook her head, setting it to the side and continuing to look at her map.
"We have a war on our hands and first thing you try to do is get yourself killed..." She muttered, taking out a pen and crossing off a few places, "Ok so we covered all the areas within the city and the nearby, so tonight we're probably going to have to start searching the deeper part of the forest for where the dark vampyre's hid their weapons." Silvano shivered. "Are you sure we should go there now? It's already dark outside and you know the myths about the creatures there. Maybe we should just double check."
Jay looked up at him with a raised eyebrow "Why do you think I've waited this long? And do you really think they'd hide it somewhere easy?"
"I just thought we should wait till the forest is less spookified..."
"And burn to death instead?" She shivered, muttering "Rather not go through that again... My feet still haven't fully regained feeling yet..." Silvano sighed and nodded.
"Fine, fine. Just thought I'd want to come out of the forest not looking like I just got a de-tan from the monsters inside." She smiled and rolled her eyes.
"Well 'fraid you'll have to deal."
Silvano sulked, putting his hands into his pockets. "Like any of us need to get any paler, we get no sunlight. Literally." She laughed before circling the area they were about to go to.
"Come on, we're losing moonlight, let's head out before sunrise at least." She told him, rolling up the map and putting it into its container before slipping it into her messenger bag, putting the rest of her food in her mouth before standing up. He nodded and picked up his sword, slinging the strap attached to the holster over his shoulder. Jay nodded at him and smiled before heading off towards the forest as he followed close behind.

A loud snap sounded off to the side of the path the young vampires were creating through the woods, startling them as more were created. Jay grabbed Silvano's sleeve, pulling them both behind a large, fallen tree, and watched carefully, a dagger in her hand. Silvano tripped backwards over a tree root and fell into a bush, landing hard on his back.
"Silvano get down! It could be something dangerous!" Jay whispered to him urgently, sparing no more than a glance back at him before her eyes locked on where the sounds had came from. Silvano froze and held his breath, his eyes darting around, trying to see what was going on without moving.
The crashing came closer, Jay holding up her dagger, ready to throw. A butterfly that appeared to be attempting to escape whatever was creating the noises flew out of it before a small, fluorescent creature came bounding out after it.
A little dragon stood there, watching the butterfly eagerly, preparing to pounce at it.
The two watched the young dragon as it pounced at the butterfly playful, making a high pitched whining sound when it flew too high for it to reached. The dragon tried to use it's wings, getting a few feet into the air before it glided back down, whining again as the butterfly flew out of sight. It looked around, curious, it's eyes locking on Silvano.
"This is dangerous?" he scoffed, sitting up. She nodded right as it pounced on him, landing on his chest and looking at his face.
"Silvano watch out it's very dangerous!" Jay yelled, getting up to help. Silvano looked it straight in the face before the baby dragon began licking him all over his face.
