All I can hear is the clock ticking
"Tick,tock,tick,tock".
All I need is whose blood exam results and I'll be on my way home.
"Knock,knock," I hear loud knocking on my door
"Come in," I say in a firm voice.
Dr.Mccarrel my usual doctor walks in, I can see he has my results in a yellow mustard folder.
"what an ugly color!,"I muttered to myself
"okay let's see what we got," he says in his cheery voice. He opens the folder and runs his finger over the fine printed results and then he pauses. He leans over to my mother whose half awake in the office chair ,but when she's shown that one piece of paper the doctor has her full attention. I tried to look over her face ,but I couldn't resist looking at her quivering lip filling my emotion with sentimental feeling like if she were to cry a river and I would join her. Dr.Mccarrel ended up concluding this appointment with an announcement that would leave all my questions unanswered. He stood up and began announcing
"Shay Carter you have..."
The mystery disease
"I'm just like any girl right?," I asked my friend Tally.
Tally is like any teenage girl that's why she's my friend ,she gets me.
"Of course!," she continued, "So, what do you think it is?"
"What do you mean?" I asked confused
"You know is it contagious!" she replied acting like it was a big deal.
Just then I think the popular girl Kate Sanders overheard me because the next I know she whispered to her "CREW" another on of her rumors about me and they ran away screaming
"ew!"
I continued walking to class with Tally then we heard it
"Shay Carter!," shouted someone impolitely
It was the principal Mrs.Goodman she was always the good one until Kate "Brain washed" her.
" You know you have a critical medical condition that may be contagious!" said Mrs. Goodman in her serious voice
"We don't even know anything about it!" I said concerned
"That why I'm afraid I'm going to have to kick you out of school grounds!" she implied
