It is early August when 12 year old Lily tells her friend Stella about her amazing new boyfriend. His name is Ethan and they met at summer camp. Lily was in love though it had only been a few weeks. She thought Ethan was too. She gave him several occasions where they could see each other. He always was busy. She thought nothing of it. Over time she fell deeper in love but the couple also grew farther apart. Then late one night something happened that Lily had never thought would happen. Ethan actually responded to her text. Well, his mother. She said," Hi Lily, this is Ethan's mother I am sorry but Ethan needs to concentrate on his school work right now I hope that you can understand." Lily cried more tears over that boy than she thought she had left for him. Ethan said that they could still be friends. Lily was relieved. But she would still cry every night before her eyes would close. She felt no one cared she thought no one could love some nobody like her. Stella her best friend was there through it all. Lily wasn't sure if Stella noticed, if she had she didn't say anything, how broken Lily was.
