Chapter 1:
*Alarm clock goes off.* "Monday. I hate Monday's." as i sigh getting up to turn off my alarm clock and grab my shoes to check the morning mail. "Hey michael!" abby says. Abby is my closest friend who i've really fell in love with but she doesn't know that. "Hey abby how are you?" i ask. Oh and before the story goes on i just wanted to say this is my very first romance short story so it might be kinda bad but thank you for reading it. "I'm pretty good, i went to the hosp...nevermind how about you?" she asks. I already knew what she was gonna say. She's gone to the hospital like 5 times for cutting herself because of the stress she's been under. Recently her mom and dad passed on so now she lives with her aunt who to be honest is satan's spawn. Literally she's that rude and mean. The person who takes her to the hospital is my dad but he doesn't tell me that he takes her i just know he does. "I'm ok i guess still tired though im gonna go back in now, bye." i told her. "Bye." she said. I go inside the house only to see a woman sitting in MY chair next to my dad. Before i tell you anything else let me give a little backstory about me and my family. My name is michael obviously and im 15 years old. I love baseball and video games. I like to draw but i mostly draw tattoo's. My mom and dad were married for 20 years but recently they got a divorce so my dad is trying new things. "Well hey there michael." as the woman says in an italian accent. I think to myself *Damn she is so sexy.* while making food in the kitchen. "Hi.." i say smirking. "Dad can i go over to abby's house tonight?" i ask him. "Sure im gonna be busy tonight anyway." he says to me. Abby is kinda unpopular and im not being her friend out of pity or guilt i just really love her and she's so beautiful and i want to surprise her and ask her to be my girlfriend considering she's been my friend for a year.

Abby's p.o.v

"Dear diary, today was not so good i went outside earlier and saw michael and talked to him. He barely talked to me which made me worried that he knows about me only having a couple of weeks to live. I want to tell him but i don't want to hurt him." i wrote in my diary shedding a tear.
