We pulled up in front of a small yellow house with white trim.I jumped out of the car into the brisk air, a man in the house next to my new home came out and talked to me for a minute until his wife told him not to scare little kids. As i approached the door,it swung open, making me loose my balance from the shock. A few minutes later a short lady with long blond curly hair came into view. She was definitely at least 10 years younger than my mom.
"Did I scare you?" She asked with a sweet grin on her face.
"Ya," i groaned, while trying to stand up.Reaching out a friendly hand, she pulled me up. "Thanks."
"Ok so,i am new to the whole parent thing,so if i do a bad job, tell me!!" She pleaded.
"Will do mam...aunt jade...umm what should i call you."
"I don't know....just Jade i guess."
"Ok,let's go inside its cold out here."I shivered. When she opened the door, the warm air from inside washed over me. Inside there were bright colors and the room, which I assume was the living room, looked homey, and extremely welcoming.
She showed me up the stairs and down what had to be at least ten halls, when we finally stopped in front of a bright pink door that had Rose written on it. After a minute of just standing and starting at the door it opened and a tall girl with brown eyes and long dark hair came out and greeted me with a warm welcoming hug."Hey, the name is Rose, sorry, but your room is still being painted,so you will have to stay in my room for about two days," she said while smiling like a complete idiot, her braces were gray.
"Welcome to the house of mystery," a girl said from behind Rose.
