Hey. My name is Alex, and I've lived in Wonderland since I was born. My mother, Alice, never actually left the mad place, but now she never will. My mother just died a week ago, and with here all of my past. Everyone in Wonderland misses her, besides the Red Queen, of course. My mother left behind a legacy, or so she thought.

I was trying not to cry, I could see my mother was about to die. "Alex," she said in a whisper like voice, "Come here." "W-w-what mother," I stuttered, my voice was faltering from holding in tears. "Alex, after I am gone you must save this Wonderland." "But, but, how?" I questioned, "Haven't you already saved it?" "Oh, no" she said, which she tried to laugh at but she started to cough viciously, and little drops of blood came out. "Son," she continued after her fit, "Although I have killed the Jabberwocky, the biggest threat still remains. I didn't have the guts to kill Red, but you must, Wonderland depends on you." My mother paused to take a shaky breath, "Find Absolem, he has the prophecy. And remember Alex, I love you." After that her eyes glossed over, and her heart had beaten its last beat. "No," I started to scream, "No, No, No!" For awhile I just lied there, and cried. Maybe after a hour or so I left the room so they could prepare to bury her.

"Absolem! Absolem! Where are you?!" I shouted as I walked around the forest where he lived. "You needn't shout when I am so close," I heard a small yet powerful voice say from behind. "Absolem," I said with relief, my feet where getting tired, "My-my mother, she, she wanted me to get a prophecy." "Ah, yes," he said in his always understanding voice, "I'm very sorry about your mother Alex, Alice and I were friends. Now then, I know exactly what prophecy, follow me." As he lead me back to where he kept the scrolls, I thought about what he was like when he was a caterpillar. Or maybe, I thought, he still has to become a caterpillar,,after all this is Wonderland. "Here we are," Absolem said breaking my train of thought. "Now you, sit over there and don't touch anything," he said in a very strict voice, "Ok then," I murmured to myself. He found the scroll surprisingly quickly, it only took about two minutes. "Here," he said as he shoved the scroll into my hand, "I currently have no use for it or you. So get out." "Ok, sir," I said with a little back sass, as I walked away. I heard a hmmph from behind me, I guessed that Absolem had heard what I said and wasn't happy. It took me a bit to get back to my home, it was a big house, to big for me. I knew I had to read the scroll soon, but I just couldn't right now. Knock knock knock, someone was at the door. I walked over and opened it, "Hello?" Nobody was there. "Boo." I heard from behind, and I jumped a little. "Ahh," I gave out a little scream, "Hahaha," I heard a deepish voice, and then he appeared, "Hello, Alex" he said long and drawn out, with his trade mark smile. "Hello Chess, to what do I owe the pleasure?" I ask in a sarcastic kinda way. "Well, I saw you with a scroll, and figured, well he isn't the brightest Wonderland folk, maybe I'll help him figure it out." "Oh," I said surprised, usually he came to pull pranks on me, "That would be nice, thanks." We cleared off a table, and rolled out the scroll. Me and Cheshire both read the first sentence and gasped.
