🍦🍦🍦Eating ice cream for days... Sad that Garroth might die. I can't handle emotions.

Anyways, let's get back to you and Travis!

Your point of view:
After swimming for an hour or so, I walked home to my house since it was only a block or two away. I took a quick shower and changed into a pair of jeans and a simple plain t-shirt.

Currently, I was sitting at the island in the kitchen, texting Adrienette and Fawn, who were trying to get me to send the photo I took with Travis. Travis had texted it to me while I was walking home.

I still haven't texted Travis. I don't know if I should. I mean, I just met him today. Would I sound creepy? I really want to text him though. He's just so captivating, funny, adorable, and amazing.

Text Messages:
A: PLEASE FLIPPING SEND US THE PHOTO OF YOU AND YOUR NEW BOYFRIEND!!!!

F: SHUT UP ADRIENETTE!!!

I put my phone down for a second to grab a bowl of watermelon to snack on. (Now I want watermelon...)

When I get back to my phone, I click on the texting app and click on the conversation where the picture of the selfie was the last thing sent into the chat.

Text Message:
Y: His name is Travis. He's a good swimmer. He's the head of the Dolphin team, which won today. Travis is adorable and hilarious and amazing. Ugh, I sound like an idiot, don't I? I mean, I just met him today.

???: No, you could never sound like an idiot. Y/N, did you mean to send that to someone else?

Y: What do you mean?

???: This is Travis. Thanks btw.

Y: Oh, s**t. Heyyyy Travis!

Irene, I can't believe that I sent the message to the wrong person. So much for not trying to sound like a creep. I'm just gonna go and curl up in a corner and hide now. I'm not even going to respond to Adrienette and Fawn, who are fangirling over how hot Travis is.

I'm just going to go write a book that lists all of the reasons why I'm single.

1.) I stare.

2.) I sound like a creep.

3.) I send messages to the wrong people.

4.) I read and write too much on wattpad.

5.) I believed that I could actually be with a guy like Travis.

-And the list goes on and on.

I glance down at my phone, seeing that I also had a few messages from Travis.

I'm not going to even look at them. I already know what they say. They probably are all messages saying how weird I am.

I've already eaten all of the watermelon that I fixed myself. I was going to try to spend the whole day texting Travis, but now that I made this mistake, I was too embarrassed to text him another word.

What should I do? Read wattpad fanfics? No, I've already read most of them. Write wattpad fanfics? No, I'm not in the mood.

My mind kept crawling back to Travis. I felt the urge to try and talk to him, go try and smooth my mistake out.

No.
Nope.
I'm not doing it.

Suddenly, my phone began to ring. I looked down to see that Travis was calling me.

My hand slowly drifted closer to my phone, clicking the answer button.

Why did I do that?

I picked up the phone and held it to my ear.

"Hey Y/N," Travis said.

"H-Hi, Travis," I stuttered.

"Y/N-"

"About the text message, I'm sorry. I know I sounded like a creep and I'm weird and you know, I'm just going to go now-" I interrupted.

"Y/N?"

"Yeah, I know, I should go. I'm sorry, Travis-"

"-Y/N!"

I stopped, realizing that I kept interrupting Travis, who was trying to tell me something. "Yes, Travis?"

"Do you wanna go grab some ice cream with me?"

"What?" I asked, shocked.

"I'm not mad or weirded out by your text. You didn't sound like a creep, and I actually found it well- cute. Anyways, do you want to?"

"Sure," I said casually, trying to hold in my screams. This is even worse than trying to hold in screams when I fangirl. "Wait, as a date?" I asked.

"Whatever it turns out to be; A date or hanging out or whatever. I really want to get to know you, Y/N."

"Me too," I said. "No- I mean, I want to get to meet you."

Travis laughed. "I know, Y/N," Travis paused. "How about we meet at Zane Stone (Ya know, because Zane can be cold at times.... So its like Cold Stone but Zane Stone. No? Okay...) at three? Does that work for you?" I looked at the clock. That was in an hour.

"Yeah, it does."

"Then I'll see ya there, babyyyy."

I smirked even though he couldn't see it. "See ya there, babe," I teased.
