I had been waiting for the train an hour already and my parents had gone home, leaving me alone to go to Hogwarts. It was my fifth year there and I could still remember when the Sorting Hat had placed me in Hufflepuff. I was happy, even if my parents had wanted me to be in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, the two houses where my parents had been.

So, I waited, an hour passed, and finally only thirty minutes were left and more people started coming, though nobody from my house or anybody else I knew, only a few Slytherins and Ravenclaws. I was sitting on my trunk, reading The Tales Of Beedle The Bard, when I saw someone familiar approach, I smiled seeing it was Neville and his grandmother and stood up, waving.

Neville smiled back and his grandmother waved at me, she had been a good friend of my grandmother when they were younger, but mine died when I was in my second year.

"Hello, dear!" Said Augusta, beaming,

"Hello," I replied, shyly, I hadn't spoken to Neville's grandmother in a while and it was a bit disconcerting,

"Hi, Aimee," said Neville, I grinned at him and then looked back at Augusta,

"How have you been, Mrs. Longbottom?" I asked her,

"Oh, very fine, thank you, dear. And your mother? Is your mother fine? Ever since poor Gwendolyn died she's been...Oh, how is she?"

"Great, actually!" I replied, "Mum's gotten a lot better these past years, of course not like before but Dad's been helping her to move on," Augusta nodded and then said,

"Well, children, I see we are early, I'll leave you here for a while, don't worry, Neville, I'll be back before the train goes." She said, walking away.

I smiled at Neville and took my book, placing it back in my trunk. I turned back around and smiled at Neville, "So, how have you been, Neville?" I asked,

"Fine, been wondering what will happen this year." He said, I smiled and sighed, I couldn't wait to be at Hogwarts again.

And there we were, Neville and I, for half an hour, silent. Neville waved at someone, and I turned around to see it was Harry, I smiled, 'Well, then,' I thought, 'I think I should go with my Hufflepuff friends.' I smiled at Neville and told him I'd be back before the train departure so we could sit in the same compartment. I walked towards Hannah Abbott and we talked about our new year at Hogwarts and she then cried over Cedric's death, because she had had a crush on him.

I walked back to my trunk and a couple of boys helped me put it in the train. I walked back to Neville and we sat down in the first empty compartment we saw. Throughought the journey to Hogwarts, we spoke about out last year and what we would do this year, joking about professors and telling each other anecdotes about our fourth year. Finally, we arrived.
