Nowhere

Arrival in the middle of Nowhere

"Ugh..where am I? what am I doing here?" I don't know who am I. I was in a room. I went downstairs. "This is some kind of an inn." I said to myself. There was a counter and in that counter I saw an old man, I approach him. 

"Excuse me, where am I?" I said. 

"Oh you are in my inn and this is the kingdom of dale."the old man replied.

"How did I..?" I added. 

"I saw you lying in the woods so I took you in." 

As our conversation was about to end, I saw a bulletin board. "Requests" 

it says. "You can do various jobs and earn some gold, try some request" the old man said.

"Catch 10 fish". That was the request I took. 

"Good choice for beginners." 

 "You can use this rod and this bucket of worms."he added. 

I went to the lake far from the woods. I was successfully catch 7 fish. I was happily fishing, when an orc attacked me. "Ahhh" I screamed. In my bag there was a knife. The orc and I fought each other. I was ready to die but a human soldier saved me. She defeated the orc. 

"Thank you" I said. 

"You should not wander here by yourself" she replied.

I give her one fish and she thanked me. She even gave me her name. Stella Grinberd. She was very beautiful with her soft blonde hair. I told grandpa Joe what happened. He told me that his name was Joe. Early in the morning. Grandpa Joe told me to go shopping. I was in the streets when I saw the sign. 

"Recruiting Military Trainees" I was interested in becoming a soldier. "Training starts in April 21, 16xx. " 

Three days from now. I told grandpa Joe about my plan and he gracefully said that he will going to teach me swordsmanship. Grandpa Joe bring out two sticks and taught me the basics of the swords. After that he let me log for my upper strength and help me improve my agility. I did that for 3 days. 

The training starts. I showed them my sword skills. The training lasts for 1 week. At last it was the picking ceremony. Name after name they call. At last my name was called. Oh I forgot to tell my name. My name is John Gundaler. All I know was my first name. Grandpa Joe gave me his last name. 

"Ranging Force Sora Squad" the unit that picked me. Stella approach me and congratulate me. She said that she personally recruited me in the Sora squad. I told grandpa about it. The night before my departure, grandpa gave me a sword. 

"I found this sword lying next to you" grandpa said. 

As Grandpa handled me the sword, it glows and I sense an energy  flowing inside my body. We say our farewells the next day.

 Stella and I travel together. Three days later. We arrive at the Sora Squad camp. Captain Sora welcomed us. 

"Only one qualify?" Captain.Sora said. 

Captain Sora is a fine woman with 20 years of age. Its been a rough ride so we went to sleep after we finish our dinner. Early in the morning, 4 more members arrive. Leo Tharn (ranger-bow), Angela Rhand (healer), Mary Lore (ranger-gun), Ann Fran (mage). They all look at me. "John Gundaler, nice to meet you. "I shook every one's hand.
