Before I could ask what was going on, the main door of the house opened, and out came a

man and woman. The woman held out her hands toward Benjamin, and smiled.

"Benjamin, I'm so glad you were finally able to visit us with your sweet family. I have been looking forward to greeting all of you, and get to know you wife and daughter, you have talked about them with so much pride, that I'm curious to get to know them."

She smiled with a French accent, before she kissed both Benjamin and my mother on the cheek in real French style, before she turned to me, and her smile seems to get even bigger.

"But dear, you are so wonderful, I have been looking forward to finally meet you, my sons have been talking about you constantly, and you are just as beautiful as they said, you are really perfect for ..."

She was interrupted when the man who had come out with her, put his arms around her in a loving embrace.

"Calm down little Gitta, let the girl have some time to breath, you confuse her and I don't think our son will look with gentle eyes if you scare her away."

He laughed, and I saw flushing as redness rising in her cheeks before she looked at me again.

"Dear, I'm really sorry, I always talk so much when I'm nervous, and even though I should be use to meeting new people by now, I still have butterflies in the stomach, whenever I meet some new. And I have really looked forward to meet you; you must forgive me my blabbering. "

She smiles, and I nodded while smiling back.

"Of course, I'm just glad I'm not the only one who's nervous."

Brigitta grinned and took my arm.

"You are absolutely perfect. And I really must say that you look stunning in that dress, it's absolutely perfect for you. "

She smiled. While she took me into the house, still talking, we went through a couple of big double doors where I discovered she had led us into a room, there must be some kind of living room. It was big and white, I mean the walls are with the furniture are white yes even the TV is white. You should think with all the white it would be too much, but who ever had decorate this room have used a lot of bright colors fabric everywhere. The curtains the pillow and blanket, and even the carpet had a bright red color to it. I smiled, I really like this room. Then I saw Simon sitting in one of the couch, he stand up quickly when we came in, and walk towards me with a surprised face.

"Clarina? ... What in the world? ... This is the dinner there make you cancel mine and Matthew's invitation?"

He laughs, and I heard Brigitta laugh.

"Yes, as you can understand, we haven't told our sons who our guest was, so it comes as a surprise ... But come with me, let me introduce you to my daughter Emily."

She smiled before she pulled me toward the corner, where I only now noticed the young woman who had to be at my age. She had long dark brown hair, there in small waves fell over her shoulder. She was like me wearing a dress, but hers was black with a belt, and pearls at the top of the dress, they were shining blue, green and silver when the light hit her. She shyly returns my smile, and I could immediately tell that she was very similar to me, and was equally unsure about this situation as me. So I smiled even bigger.

"I'm really glad to meet you Emily, I hope we two can be friends, I'm new here in town, and I'm really not good to get new friends, I'm too shy."

Emily looked at me surprised, before she broke into a big smile, and nodded.

"I would really like that, I feel the same way and always feel like a stranger no matter where I am."

She said a little sad. I smiled at her, but before I could say anything, the door busted open and there was Matthew, who immediately zoomed in on me.

"Clarina ...!?"

He was smiling and took a step forward, but then stopped, and looked carefully at me.

"Could you change your parents' plans, so you could come here?"

He asked gently, and I smiled shyly, before I shook my head, and grinned.

"It turned out that, this was the dinner my family was going to, so it developed in the right direction."

I laughed softly, and saw a huge smile break out on Matthew's face

"So you really would like to eat dinner here at home with me?"

I looked wonderingly at him.

"Yes of course I said that already in school, it was only because I was going to dinner with my parents that I had to postpone it."

Matthew still had the big smile on, before he went and put a hand on my shoulder, and looked deeply into my eyes.

"I'm really happy to hear that."

I gasped when he touched me, and I felt sparks up my arm at his touch, Matthew looked gently down at me before he bent down and kissed me on the cheek, before he whispered.

"I'm glad you will give me a second chance even though I went way over the line last time."

I felt the blush rising in my cheeks when he mentioned Friday night. Once again he made it clear that he regretted what we did, He said it in a friendly way, but it was nevertheless what he said. I quickly stepped away from him, before turning at Emily, and asked her where she went to school. It turned out that we went to the same school, but she was a grade under me so we had no class together.
