avery's pov -

"What if your family doesn't like me?" I panicked just before Debbie had a chance to open the door. "Trust me Aves, they'll love you. Compared to who we have been around our whole lives they will think you are the sweetest person ever" she smiled. "Hey guys" she spoke causing all heads to turn to me and Debbie. "Debbie who's this?" A woman asked, maybe her mom? Though she seemed awfully young. "This is Avery, and Avery this is Fiona my older sister, who takes care of all of us while my parents are off doing their own thing". "Oh hi Fiona" I smiled. She returned the hello and Debbie continued introducing everyone, "This is Lip my oldest brother" I looked at him and damn he's good looking but probably way to old for me so I just have a small wave and he kind of checked me out? While I awkwardly blushed. "This is Ian the 2nd oldest". "Hi" I smiled. "Liam" Debbie looked at a little boy playing with toys on the kitchen floor, "Hi cutie" I giggled tickling him causing him to giggle too. "And the one and only Badass Carl" she rolled her eyes as for mine practically pooped out of my head! He was the guy with Debbie this morning and he looked even hotter if that was possible suddenly a voice interrupted me from my gawking, "Hey hot stuff" he smirked making my heart stop and he smirk literally made me melt. "H-hi" i stuttered but mentally slapped myself for doing so, though I couldn't help it. He made me go numb and weak.

"What the fuck Frank!" Debbie yelled. Making me to look in their living room along with everyone else. A man was on the couch trying to open a beer with his crotch. "What? It's a new project I'm working on" he threw his hands up in surrender. "Anywho Avery this is my dad, Frank. Who is never around and is a drunk prick" she says through gritted teeth. I nod slowly waving to Frank. "Come upstairs" she gestured, I followed her up the old, unsafe, half broken stair case. "This is my room" she showed me around her room and I complemented it since it was cute and girly. Then she showed me the rest of the rooms upstairs including the boys.

We went back into her room and laid on her bed, Debbie decided to play truth or dare. I thought everything was all good until she asked something that made me choke. "Would you ever have sex with my brother?". I recovered from my coughing fit before shaking my head hurriedly "Uh No". "Phew! It's just that all my best friends go for my brother and have sex with him behind my back, like my ex friend Holly." She explained making me gasp, "She's in my maths class she seems like a plastic bitch" I laughed making debbie laugh too. "I've got the best idea!" Debbie screamed, "What?". "Okay we can make a crazy bucket list for this year and we must achieve them by the end of the year" she smirked and so did I, immediately high five-ing her at her great idea. "Okay let's start" she smiles grabbing a bright pink, empty diary and pens. "What should we write first?". "Hmm, lose virginity." She writes, "How about host a successful party?" I wink and she nodded writing it down. "Going on a road trip" "Have a bonfire on the beach" "Go out and get unbelievably drunk" "Get matching tattoos" "Have a badass makeover" "Prank a teacher" "Egg the school" "Steal from a store" "Start a fight with a girl in our school" "Sneak out" "Skip school" "Go skinny dipping" "Flirt with every guy at the pool" "Make a kissing booth at a carnival." "Have sex on school grounds" "Go to a music festival" "Make a burn book" "Share a cigarette with our crush at the time". She finished writing the last word and we hid it before heading downstairs. "Honey would you like to stay for dinner?" Fiona asked as we reached the last step, "Oh no, Thankyou but that would be too much" I smiled. "Some other time?" She smiled, "Of course" I nodded.
I said my goodbyes and got Debbie's number before walking back home with a smile on my face. I made friends. Really good ones. My parents weren't home of course, so I went to bed and closed all the lights before my eyes got heavy and my eyes shut.

The morning light blinded my eyes making me instantly wake up and groan. I unlocked my phone it being '6:04'. I jumped out of my bed and went downstairs making myself a coffee and getting a protein bar. Time to get ready! I picked out black ripped jeans, a white crop top and my black leather jacket. I paired it with a pretty necklace and ruffled my hair letting it sit in my shoulders. After fishing my makeup which I loved today, I sprayed some Victoria secret perfume and grabbed my phone/ backpack then heading back down stairs. I shut the door behind me as I took in the sights in front of me, though it was the south side, it still had a special feel to it. "Hey Avery!" I heard a voice shout making me jump in utter fright, I spun my head around causing me to get whiplash. "Oh hey Carl?" I said surprised to see him but hiding my nervousness at the same time. "Wait up". We began walking together and it was awkward at first then it got even more awkward. "Your really hot and I like to bang my sisters best friends so I guess you next up on the list" he gives me a wink, did he just call me hot?!! Ah! Avery snap out of it! "I don't think so pretty boy" I teased. "Oh really?", he suddenly pushed me against the nearest wall that happened to be in an alley way kind of . "Yep" I teased popping the 'p'. His arms being on either side of my head an he was real close to my face like I could feel him breathing on me. And every two seconds he would glance at my lips making my heart thump. "You sound hot when you say that, say it again" he said in a husky voice, well shit, that escalated quickly. "What if I don't want to?" I snapped giving him a slight smirk. "Ooo feisty, it's okay I like a challenge" he chuckled. "My friends having a party tomorrow night you should come" he spoke, I nodded slowly before attempting to get out of his grasp which I eventually did since he moved.

"Hey Aves" Debbie hugged me and I returned the hello, "Hey debs". "So I heard Jake Miller is hosting his annual party at his lake house tomorrow" she spoke making me nod. "Should we go?". "Yeah he's hot as and I kind of liked him since freshman year" she blushes, "aw" I hug her. "Let's go shopping after school?" I smile, "Yass" she replies making me laugh. I seriously love my best friend.
