Valerie's POV

"VALERIE HORTON!" My mom yelled. I shot up. "IM UP!" I yelled. Sigh.. Another day at school. I never really liked going to school.

My name is Valerie Taylor Horton. I am 18. I slipped outta bed.(more like rolling outta bed.) I stood in the shower and stripped. The warm water fell on me. It felt so refreshing.

- 20 mins later -

I slipped on my cream sweater and black khaki pants.(of course I'm wearing undergarments.). "Valerie, if you're not out in 5 minutes you're gonna be late for school." Mom said. "Okay. Okay. I'm out." I said. "Bye." I said. "Bye sweet cheeks. Have fun." Mom said.

I slipped on my black vans and out I went.

HAVE FUN!? HIGH SCHOOL=WORST NIGHTMARE

I tied my hair up into a high ponytail. The ends of my hair being dip dyed red. I am a brunette. If I was blond, I think I would have dip dyed it purple.

I waited for my bus. I whipped my phone out and logged onto twitter. "300 followers?" I mumbled and pouted to myself.

"Oh. Bus here." I said slipping my phone into my back pocket while carrying my file.

I took out my earpiece and started tapping on my playlist. It's called '🌸🎀🍀💋🌴💕' Yeah. It's retard. It contains all my favorite emoji aha. First song on my playlist, try hard by 5 seconds of summer.

OH MY LUKES SOLO. HAVE YOU HAD HOW MUCH IDEA HOW HOT LUKE IS!? HES FREAKING CUTE.

*17 mins later*

I got down the bus and walked a few meters to school. Some guy skateboarded and tripped over something and fell on me. I ended up dropping my file. "Oh my god. I'm so sorry." The person said.

"It's ok." I said brushing myself off. "I'm Luke." The same guy extended his hand. "Val-" I almost fainted. LUKE HEMMINGS. IN MY FACE. I MEAN. BEFORE MY VERY EYES. WANTS TO KNOW ME. HE WANTS TO GIVE ME A HANDSHAKE. OH MY GOD. IM FANGIRLING.

"Valerie." I said calmly. "Nice to meet you Valerie. You study here?" He asked. "Actually, it's my first day here." I said.

"Oh. Well I guess it's your lucky day! Come." Luke said grabbing my hand. "Woah." I said as he dragged me.

JANOSNWJ LUKE HEMMINGS'S HOLDING MY HAND. "Yes. And how do you know my full name?" Luke asked. "I said that out loud..?" I asked. He chucked and nodded. "You're in a band called 5 seconds of summer." I said. He let out an 'ohh..'

He chuckled. "Lets go to the office to get your schedule." Luke said.

I nodded.

"Hey, lemme see your schedule." Luke said. I have it to him. "Wow. We have all lessons together. I guess I could sit beside you." He winked. I blushed. "Why not?" I said trying to hide it.

"Hey b-" Calum said. "Woah." He walked one round around me. "Who's this hottie?" Calum asked. I blushed looking at my feet. "Valerie." Luke said proudly.

"Woah." Michael said. "Hay. I'm Valerie." I said. IANDINWNDOD

"You're pretty." Michael winked. IWNDOKWKSKFJD WINDOWNJDHD IM BLUSHING. MICHAEL CLIFFORD JUST CALLED ME PRETTY. AHHHHHHHHHHH. CAN YOU IMAGINE IT!?

"Hey. Can I see your schedule?" Calum asked. "Sure." I said. "Yay! We have history, gym, English and algebra together!" Calum said . I chuckled. Michael pouted. "I only have history and gym with her." He faked cry.

"Better luck next time pal." I patted his back.

NO VALERIE. GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF. HES MICHAEL CLIFFORD. NOT RANDOM MICHAEL.

The bell rang. "History first." Calum said. "What? I haven't got my stuff yet." I said. "It's ok!" Calum said grinning and dragged me.

"Ah, new girl huh?" A girl spat in my face. What is going on?

"Hey. Megan. Don't need to be mean," Michael said. "Why do you care? And since when do you care about new students?" Megan(I suppose school b- dog....)

"Um.. Hey.. I'm Valerie. Nice to meet you." I said extending my hand. "Ew. I'll get the valerease disease." Megan and and her 'gang' laughed. "Hey listen up. I may look soft. But I can assure you, I will beat you up." I said glaring at her. "I'm trying to be nice ok." I said. "Whatever." She said and walked away.

I rolled my eyes. "Woah. You beat people up?" Luke said. "Yeah. I use to protect my best friend. When we were in middle school, we always get bullied. So I decided to take up aikido, boxing and karate." I said.

Their jaws drop.

"I dance too." I said closing their jaws. "Ok everyone settle down!" The teacher said. "Ah, Valerie. I'm mrs willows. Welcome. You'll be sitting beside calum and luke as they will be able to guide you." Mrs willows said.

"Care to introduce yourself?" mrs willows asked with a polite smile. "Why not." I shrugged. "I am Valerie Horton. I come from London, Doncaster. But now I'm living in Australia because of my dads business trip." I said. "Thank you Valerie," Mrs willows said.

I smiled. "Hey. Kewl khaki pants." A guy said to me. "Thanks." I said.

-Lunch-

"Hey Val! Over here!" Luke said. "Shouldn't we be eating in the cafeteria?" I asked. "It's too mainstream. The grass is good." Calum said. I laughed.

"Hey look." Calum said leaning against a tree. I couldn't see. I am VERY short. "Oh my god! Is that Harry!?" Luke laughed to himself. "Yeah." Calum laughed. I furrowed my eyebrows.

I kicked Calum's leg so that's he'd fall to one knee. "Hey!" Calum said. I peaked over his shoulder.

I screamed.
