(Ok its been a while sorry for the wait. I know this book isn't that great or even good but I'm going to finish it no matter what so anyways here we go)

"Please...please don't. I swear I won't tell anyone, I promise!"

"Sorry girly, I can't do that," a deep voice said.

"Please...why are you doing this?"

"Shut up," he replied.

"Please! I have a family I need to get back to!"

"I said shut up!"

"Please...no please! My mom will be worried please!" Laila begged with tears going down her face.

"Laila!"

"Please!!" Laila screemed.

"Laila!" Jenny yells. Laila bolted out of her bed, her heartbeat going crazy. Her body was drenched in sweat and her face soaked from her tears.

"Mom...what....how...?" Laila asks, breathless.

"You just had a bad dream;everything is fine. What kind of dream did you have? It sounded like someone was trying to kill you."

"That's cause he was going to..."

"What was that honey?" Jenny asks, her face showing concern.

"Nothing, it's just... I don't have a good feeling about this camping trip, mom."

"Oh honey, you'll be fine. You and your brother will have the time of your lives, trust me! Kids your age will be there too. You can make new friends and see new things, it'll be good for you."

"Mom, please, I just don't have a good feeling about it..."

"You are going Laila. I don't care what kind of feelings you have about it but you're going. You and your brother need this and you might not like it but I don't carem I'm the mother and my word goes."

"Ok but if something bad happens just remember you never listenedto me," Laila says. Her mother had never listened to her and she knew she wouldn't start now.

"Laila Roy Hadley, you will not back talk me you hear? Nothing will happen to you or your brother," Jenny says, her face showing her anger.

Why do I have to go, Laila thinks to herself, I'm sixteen, not ten like Ryan, I have a life...with my tv

School ends and Laila finds herself packing for the camping trip that her mother is forcing her to go to. Laila had thought a lot about what her mother had said and was going to try and have fun and not worry about the dreams she had been having. They probably didn't mean anything....hopefully.

"I'm gonna miss you. I'll send postcards and....letters" Ava says while shivering.

"It's not that hard to wright, Ava."

"I know but texting is so much easier," Ava whines.

"Yeah I know but you'll just have to deal with it."

"I'm gonna miss you!" Ava says while running towards Laila and pulling her in for a hug.

"How long are you gonna be gone?"

"All summer I'm afraid. Or well, I'll be back three weeks before school starts or something like that. I was mad at my mom and didn't hear what she said this morning."

Ava rolls her eyes before saying, "Sounds like you. Anyways, I gotta go pack too so I guess this is goodbye until you come back." She says with tears in her eyes.

"Yeah I guess...bye Ava. If anything bad happens to me just know I love you and you're my best friend."

"Girl, I already knew that. Who wouldn't love a person such as myself?" Laila rolls her eyes and turns and walks away.

"Bye Ava."

"Bye Laila...I'll write every chance I get!"

(Aaaaand sorry it's really not that good but I'm having writers block just a tad. I had a really good idea of what the book would be about and how it would happen but its not like I imagined it would be like so I'm sorry)
