Ty's PoV
I call everyone by their last name except from Nicole. I never knew why but probably from my dad's days of working in the army he used to do that. I walked to school today and I felt really great but as soon as I saw her I felt so bad about our argument.
Last week me and Nicole had our first fight because I asked her out and she said "Are you crazy?!? The zombies are coming and you wanna talk about that!!!" She was my best friend and I feel bad about it.
As I walked to my locker (which was next to hers!) I saw her and for the first time in 7 days she approached me! She began to talk "Hey Ty , I fell bad about y'know and I just wanna say I'm sorry but you know the virus? Well it's increasing massively! In Fact this may be our last week in school! But any ways , do you forgive me?" Of course I did how could I stay mad at her! I replied back saying "Course Nicole 'ow about we head to the coffee shop next to Molly's boutique after school to talk about the virus and stuff!" She looked at me and smiled the she said "Yeah alright!"
***After school***
I have been wait for 10mins where is she? Maybe I'm being paranoid but still. She the arrives I say to her "Nicole your late!" But she just smiles. She always smiles. Suddenly her cousin Maria walks in. Nicole says "Maria! Hey come sit with us!" I then say "Hey...Eagle...." Maria then says "Yeah ok I kinda forgot you called people by their last name but any ways I'm afraid that 1. I'm just in for a vanilla latte and secondly I wouldn't want to ruin your date!" Nicole looked blank as I smiled. "We aren't on a date in fact we're here to talk about the virus." I said. We finished talking and I walked Nicole home. We were both at her door step and before she went in she said "If I was to give you a chance what would you say about this..?" I then said "Say abou-" but I never got to finish that sentence because she kissed me. She then looked at me and I stared at her amazed at what she did. She then said "So?" And I said "N-N-Nicole I never expected that...." She looked at me waiting for an answer it was getting dark so I had to make it quick. "I'd say that you umm I umm we ummm....Wow" she smiled. I felt like a fool for 2 reasons 1. Was that I couldn't get my words out and 2. Was that I had my 1st kiss was at the age of 17. "I have to go Ty but call me tomorrow and we can talk about the virus more." I replied back to her "Yeah! It's a date!" She then said "no no not a date!" I knew she'd say that. I leave her and go home. Nicole is an amazing girl....I love her.....
