When It All Begins

Mr. Warren

Aubrey's P. O. V

"I'm home. Anybody there?? " I said walking in the door.

You think you'll be able do safe your people. Ha Ha Ha Ha. You are too naive Aubrey. It's too late now to turn the tables.

" Wh- Who's there? "

Just as I reached the kitchen I heard the front door slam shut.

" I'm home Aubrey. There is someone who wants to see you. "

I was too scared to move or even say a single word. 

"Aubrey ,you there?" my sister called out .

" I'm be there in a second" I said as  i tried to get what i just heard out of mind.

As soon as I got out of the kitchen the first thing  I noticed was an anomalous box lying on the table.And right behind the table was a man of around 40's with some of his strands of hair turned grey. 

Suddenly, there came a noise from behind me ,probably from the stock room. Apparently,my sister knocked down something. This noise made the man turn around and look at me.

" Hello there , you must be Aubrey." As soon as the man turned around the first thing i noticed was his eyes . They were a peculiar shade of gold . His sleeves were rolled up and i could see the tattoo of Anulap with something written just below it. " Ah! those big brown eyes. I can single out these eyes anywhere."

" Who are you?" I asked. At that very moment my sister came in the living room. " Oh! so you seem to have met Mr. Alberic Farynill Warren. He'll be teaching you -

"Your History " Alberic finished my sister Alicia's sentence.

"What do you mean 'Your History'?" I interrogated.

"We have to talk Aubrey" My sister and Alberic said in a unison.

Trevor's P.O.V

As soon as i reached home , the first thing i did , was to grab something to eat. Man , these humans sure eat too little. By the end of the day i was starving to death. I couldn't even do something about it , 'No matter what , save your identity' that's all i heard all the way from Esthera to 'The Ivory Tower'. This is what Estherians call the human world.

As soon as i finished the first slice of my pizza the phone rang

"Hello, Am I speaking to Trevor Allistair?" A female voice said through the phone.

"Yes you are . How may I help you?" I replied .

"Mr. Trevor Allistair , Mr. Warren is on his way to meet the destined girl , on the other hand we haven't heard of any progress reports from your side." She said as if it was her life that was on stake.

"Well, yeah , I'm trying to make some contact with the girl , I ju-"

"Will you maybe try a little harder?"

"How can you expect a single guy to handle everything all at once? I'm doing all that I can to find the girl.For a fact I just know her hair colour. This is a big world milady , there could be plenty of girls with the same hair color. Now, what do expect that I knock every damn's door in the entire city?I also happen to have a life and  i also happen to be busy with classes,tests and the assignments.They sure give a lot of them."

"For God's sake Trevor you don't have any classes! Your only job here is to find the girl.And as far as I know you go to the same school as hers! How hard can it be to find a girl with strawberry blonde hair? Not many people have this kind of hair color." She said in a tone that stated that my job was a cake walk.

"But I-"

"Darkness is falling on Esthera and you think this is all a big joke? " She cut me off again and continued her blabbering. " Trevor please take this seriously. That girl is our last hope right now. I don't know why did The Astute Guardian Of All appoint you in the first place?"

"Hey, hey, hey . Stop right there. First of all , Who are you?"

"I am the head messenger , the one who is responsible for the exchange of messa-"

"Well who ever you are you have no right to question my abilities. You'll have her soon. And yes she'll be trained." There's only a little This guy can take.

"Trevor, we are falling apart right now. With the attacks that has taken place in The Alcazar , The Senate of Defense and Warfare and The Convocation of Wizardry are all worried."

"I'll bring her as quick as I can , just have a little faith."

"May the spirits be with you."

"May the spirits be with you." I ended the call. I can't just laze around now , can I? But As the saying goes.. First we Eat Then We Do Anything Else ..I grabbed the box of pizza ate it all and then finally went upstairs to my room. I took out my laptop and some books that I brought with me from 'The Great Athenaeum Of Esthera' .I thought maybe I could get something about how she ended up here or something. So, I got my stuff ready and set to work. I have to make Mission: Bring back the Denier Resort a success.
