Ilizabeth POV.

The day went went like normal stay at the pack house hang out then tell my parents I'm gonna go "shopping". Pft ya right shopping to me is like going to jail I hate it. No I'm going with my friends Becca and Dawn to the shifter club downtown with are fake IDs. It's gonna be fun.

Dawn: Red are you ready yet we're gonna be late and then there is gonna be no more cute boy- oof I mean clothes left.

Red: ya ya don't get your panties in a bunch. I'm almost done.

Becca: that's what you said 25 minutes ago.

I laugh at my friend's they know I have to look good if I find the one. Oh ya my nicknames red because well my mom is red riding hood and my dad is Robin hood. My mom is a fox shifter and my dad is a wolf shifter. I find it kinda funny because well you know the red riding hood story and the big bad wolf. Anyways I have red shiny hair, violet eyes with pink flecks, I'm fairly tanned you could say, and I'm like what 5'11 no big deal. I put my hair up in a high pony, a little bit of eyeliner doing the cat eye and a little mascara. I check my outfit in the mirror a black skinny jeans and a red crop top with a fox on it. With my black heels. I turned around and looked at my tattoo of a fox peeking out of the top of my crop top. I smiled at it and grabbed my jacket. I ran down the stairs and saw that Becca and Dawn were playing white tiles on their phone. Their such children. I silently crept up behind them jumped in-between them and grabbed their phones and took off to my roushe mustang. I jumped inside and started it. I looked up to see my friends running out the door. They both stopped right outside of the passenger door and played rock paper scissors over who got to sit up front. Of course Dawn won like always after all she can read minds that was the power that came with shifting into her brown wolf. Becca jumped in the backseat pouting. I was just waiting for Dawn to stop doing her happy dance and get in. I honked the horn at her when she started twerking honestly no one wants to see that. She fell over on her side and jumped up and got in.

Red: jeez are you that happy.

Dawn: yup

Becca: you only won because you cheated.

Dawn rolled her eyes and I handed them both back their phones. They both made a happy face and started playing on their phones again. I rolled my eyes and turned up the radio and sped out of the drive way and started heading towards the all night club.

After many arguments on what radio station to put on and over the phone charger. We finally made it to the all night club. Becca dove out of the car and kissed the pavement and Dawn was to scared to even remove her seat belt. I don't blame them the slowest I went in the car was only 65. We finally all got up and inside the club with ease it must be because my mom is a fox shifter I got my  cleverness and  sneakiness from her.

Dawn: I'm gonna go get a a Cadillac margarita I'll see you two babes in a while.

She said and walked off swaying her hips trying to get some guys attention obviously.

Becca: umm I'm just gonna go over here.

She ran off after some guy to I don't know where and I'm pretty sure I don't wanna know.

Stranger: hey there hot stuff what're you doin over here all alone.

Red: I don't know why aren't you over there dancing with someone.

Stranger: I have no one to dance with.

Red: awe well poor little baby.

Stranger: well since your here and apparently alone. Do you wanna dance with me for a little bit?

Red: sure why not

He did a little jig then grabbed my hand and drug me to the dance floor. I laughed at him and then Started dancing to the song that was on I don't know what it was called but it was really catchy. I felt a headache coming on so I told the guy who I guess name was Eric or Derek I don't remember now but I told him that I was gonna go get a few shots of vodka and be right back he offered to go with me but I said naw its fine. I headed towards the counter and went to sit down.

Bartender: what will it be.

Red: 3 shots of vodka please.

Bartender: coming right up.

I waited a little while and as soon as I got the shots they were  gone. I put a 20 on the table and walked off to find Derek that was his name. I found him dancing with another girl so I growled not knowing ware it came from and stormed off to find a nice sort of secluded area to sit down and think.

Derek: hey finally I found you why didn't you come back?

Red: you were dancing with someone else so I decided I would just go and sit down

Derek: that was probably my twin brother  Tanner.

Red: oh ok sorry I needed to sit

Derek: its fine is it ok if I sit with you my brother takes forever

Red: ya sure

Derek: ok thanks

I nodded to him and then repeated the name Tanner in my head I don't know why it just gives me the shivers.  All of the sudden I got really dizzy and I couldn't focus my vision on anything I heard a loud pop and crack and a scream and realized it came from me.

Derek: are you ok? Are you shifting? Shouldn't you have shifted already after all you are like what 20 you have to be to get into here right?

Red: no I'm not ok and no I haven't shifted yet my mom is a fox shifter and my dad is a wolf shifter it took awhile for one animal to become more dominant over the other.

Derek: ok well umm I don't know what to do sorry.

Red: well what did you do for your shift.

Derek: well I was outside and comforted by my brother since he shifted 10 minutes before me.

Red: well find him and see if he can help me at all.

Derek: ok umm I just mind linked him he'll be here in 2 minutes since it's packed in here.

Red: well lets hope he gets here in time.

I said sitting on the ground and holding my sides well trying to hold myself together. I started whimpering and struggling to hang on to my human self.

Derek: Tanner she just fell over and started shifting I didn't know what to do so I mind linked you. Can you help.

Tanner:(growling) mine

I whimpered and started slipping into darkness I felt someone pick me up and start running. I felt when we went outside the cold air hit my skin and bit at it. The last thing I heard before I fell into darkness is " I love you don't worry I'll keep you safe just come back" and then it all went black and I heard a ringing in my ears.
