I woke up with a long yawn ready for the- wait. I sat up carefully, noticing I was still in my Gryffindor red and gold embroidered pajamas, and looked around. This wasn’t my dorm, and where are Lily and Alice? By now Lily should be shaking me awake and scolding me for crushing my alarm clock again. Bringing myself out of my mini-flashback I scanned the room carefully once again. It seemed the theme of this room was pink, what an awful color choice. I grimaced in disdain for the room.

“Princess Calypso awoke, disoriented and puzzled,” I heard a very ominous voice say.

“What in the world…?” I wondered. It is official I’ve gone off my rocker. I thought. I shook my head, my long blonde hair whipping around with the movement, to get rid of my thoughts. I cautiously stepped out of bed, noticing a tiny detail I didn’t see before. A grey and brown cat with large brown eyes was staring at me with a knowledgeable look. I stared back at the cat, a bit confused and honestly, scared. I didn’t know where I was, but it was a strange place.

“Thankfully, Princess Calypso knew she could rely on her intelligent feline friend,” I heard the voice from before say.

“Who keeps talking?” I asked quietly. I looked back down at my pajamas; I would need clothes if I wanted to look at all decent. I walked over to a wardrobe closet and opened it. I shrieked at the ugly sight. Staring back at me were hundreds of grotesque, fluffy, Pepto-Bismol pink dresses all lined up on clothing racks that seemed to go on forever. I stumbled back, grabbing the cat and using it as a shield. I squeaked again when a door that seemed to materialize out of thin air burst open. I turned to see my shy, brown haired blue-eyed best friend glaring at me. “A-Alice?” I asked, almost fearful.

“Don’t sass me missy!” Alice shrieked. I squeaked again loudly then took in her appearance, if I wasn’t so scared I might’ve laughed. Here was my mousy friend clad in fuzzy purple slippers, baggy navy blue sweatpants, an oversized floral print t-shirt, and her short brown pixie-like hair was in large purple rollers. She also wore a lime green robe and clutched a coffee mug in her hand.

“It was then Princess Calypso realized she had to escape her evil grandmother, but the only way was through the wardrobe of pink dresses,” the “Sky-Voice” as I had dubbed it said.

“What is this? Narnia?” I stated. None-the-less I grabbed the cat and ran to the wardrobe. I ripped open the doors and plunged inside “The Pink Pit of Terror,” I thought the name suited it well. Once we broke through the never-ending wall of clothing I face-planted along with the cat onto a field. I groaned and sat up; I took in my appearance this time. My blonde hair was ruffled and in disarray, my silk red pajamas were wrinkled, and my white socks that I had fallen asleep in were caked with mud. I sighed and turned back to where the dresses were standing only to smile. Sitting among the ugly pink dresses was one beautiful blue gown. It wasn’t poufy; actually it looked like it would be rather slimming, it had long sleeves that would cling to the arms, though it was floor length it was amazing. I walked over to it, taking in the sleek material that matched my now sparkling blue eyes, examining the gold thread that lined the fabric and tied it together and made a decision. I could only hope it fit. To my surprise, it fit like a glove. The fabric clung to my thin, yet healthily full frame, it didn’t trail yet the hem wasn’t abnormally short, and the arms length was perfect. I grinned and twirled a bit in the gown, earning a content “meow” from a certain feline. “You like it?” I questioned. It mewed once again. I looked back once again to see even more items. This was such a strange place.

Shrugging it off I went to inspect the items anyways. There was a pair of what seemed to be leather or possibly felt, and I use this term loosely, black boots with some white ankle socks on top of them. I swiftly slipped them on and moved to the next object. There was a small array of weaponry. I scanned through them, when I was about to pick one up I was interrupted.
